  • Here are some of the best techniques to texture EVA Foam for cosplay and craft projects! I'll cover soldering, heat pressing, puff paint, stickers, scoring, rotary tools, and foam clay!
This is more of a TL;DR overview and discussion, you can find super detailed how-to steps in my collaboration video with Cosgear! You can also check out the planner I mention in the free Cosgear App!

I use the foam clay to add cheekbones and noses to flat masks sometimes. Made my spiderman faceplate and my deadpool build look more detailed. ❤

Very thorough breakdown of all these methods, I love the results! However, it might be good to also include a note about protective gear for some of these methods, especially a respirator! If you're soldering your foam, you absolutely have to wear one and should in general only do it in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes are incredibly toxic! Apart from that, amazing video

For heat pressing, how would you adjust if using a 3D printed texture roller?

My niece still asks about you and your potions, she had great fun when we made virgin versions while I was babysitting her :)

There's a weird noise in your videos lately, sounds like a squeak, perhaps a cable moving?
