Well done Chris. Another very good film. Do you have an agreement with surrounding farms or are the reds fair game if they wander over the boundary ? Seems a shame if you have put so much work into bringing the deer on to maturity to have them shot elsewhere. Also its great to see the Breckland area shown to the world as the beautiful area it is . Top job 👏
No agreement with neighbours unfortunately so we have to hope some don't leave the estate. It can be disappointing to see others benifit from what is hopefully our good management. This is a familiar story in the uk but we have to do what's right for the herd and hope a few make it through. It's a shame in the uk that all the government want to do is reduce numbers rather than implement better management of males. Just look at the Scottish government's attitude to male deer at the moment...
Hey nice video, why don’t you hit the bigger and older buck who has already lived his life rather than the younger one who certainly has a lot to do simply because he’s so young
Thanks for the comment. The older stags will be culled as they fulfil our cull criteria, either antler size or body condition. The yearling stag, a spiker, was taken because he is substandard to others in his age class. Most deer culls are made up of predominately young and old animals, leaving the mature individuals to breed.
A very good Wednesday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset
Another great video, for me yours are the most entertaining, informative, relaxed, well filmed and produced, a superb watch, thank you
Eighty-odd peacocks? What a racket!
What an excellent video showing real dedication in decidedly inclement weather.
Wow there were some big boys in that group!
Some lovely animals there

Some nice deer there!
Great Stuff 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Cool video 😎
Looked like a neck shot was on there, still a big target and less meat damage
And yet the internet would have you believe the .243 is only good for munties. Great videos really enjoy them!
Chris was using a 30-06 here.
