Love the mustang and other American cars. But I'll be honest with you, with my reaction time, 300+ hp, and the fact I just hit the age to get a driving permit I'd probably run over half the crowd before I realized what the hell just happened. Love 'em but I know I'm not ready for them, I can't even drive stick yet lol.

In high school, I really wanted one of the 2V New Edge Mustangs but obviously couldn't afford it. I told myself one day I would own a Mustang. Almost 2 decades later I have a 2017 Mustang GT with a Procharger. I love the way it looks and drives, and I get the occasional compliment as well. Anything affordable & popular will have its fair share of fans and haters. In my experience, a lot of these haters drive a beater (or nothing at all)
4 out of 5 times whenever someone hates on my mustang it’s usually someone who drives a grocery getter. 1 out of the 5 it’s usually other muscle car owners..... especially those mopar boys.. But all in all, I personally haven’t really come across hate on my car.

Absolutely love Mustangs! I have had 4 of them so far. A 2001 GT, a 2014 GT, a 2011 GT500 (modded to almost 700 crank HP), and I am currently driving a 2019 GT350. Love these cars, they are just so much fun to drive and have so much personality!
I've had three Mustangs. Ironically, I didn't total a car doing a burnout until AFTER I got rid of mine. No crowds around, just a deep, unforgiving ditch. Not my proudest moment.
I daily a 4.0 V6. I will never sell this car. First car I own that I truly love....and I owned a Gbody. People can hate all they want, I usually crash into the haters first.
Driven Mustangs for over 20 years. I’m in a 2019 S550 GT and the love is real. It’s the poor mans sports car and without it I couldn’t have experienced some of the thrills I have.
I have a 17 GT I bought new. Car has been solid. Such a great car for the money. It’s VMP boosted making a 611 RWHP. Nothing better than GAPPING people who think they have a superior car. Of course there is more to a car than straight line speed but the Mustang checks a lot of boxes especially for the price.
It’ll still always be the car I strive to have cause there’s so many different styles and aftermarket mods you can do, and they’re very reliable cars if you treat them right

My hate comes from Ford Dealership service. I purchased a 2018 GT with an extended factory warranty through 100k Miles and with Prepaid maintenance for 3 years. My first visit, my car was gone for 3 days for its first service (Oil change, tire rotation, filters etc) - no loaner. Then had a water leak from the rear window seal into the backseat...Car was out of my hands for another 21 days. Next visit, described a few other minor issues and how to replicate them exactly and the last dealership just ignored my asks and said they couldn't find anything. I will NEVER spend a decent amount of money with Ford again, knowing how their dealership network provides service once they have your $$$. This was all in under 6 months. I sold it and bought a 2017 Camaro 2SS.
And also as a side note people buy the 4-cylinder Mustang just because they want the Mustang look not everybody wants a bunch of horsepower some people just want the styling

I don't like the Mach-E being called a Mustang either. However I think what Ford was trying to do was create a more performance division of Ford. I think Ford wanted to build off one of its most known name plates. Dodge has RAM and SRT and GM has GMC. They still could have renamed it after the defunct Thunderbird (Thunder/Lightning)and tied it into it being an electric vehicle however instead of Mustang.
Or rather they're just putting a beloved name on a controversy SUV in Hope's the name will drive its sales instead of calling it the Mach-Explorer, or Mach-Expedition, or Mach-Edge, or even the Mach-Escape....
The Mach E mustang is proof that most modern car designers are not actually car enthusiasts. Mitsubishi with the Eclipse, and Chevrolet with the Blazer did the same thing. Unfortunately they are not looking at what enthusiasts want, they are looking at the market trends and right now most just want an SUV.

Used to exclusively appreciate muscle cars, ended up getting an Ecoboost because I was 17 and didn’t know anything about cars, and wounded up surrounded with friends who drive tuners and stanced Japanese cars. Now I own an STI. I wasn’t exposed to a dreadful amount of 4cyl mustang hate but even going through comments, forums, etc it’s just such a crap community. There’s definitely some nice people who I’ve connected with but the negativity outweighs. I didn’t personally slide the car more than twice in a year of ownership but I’ve seen enough stereotypical owners that I never felt bad about the hate they get, even when I still had mine. My GF’s family recently moved to my state and her sister’s husband is a mustang meat head who has no filter and thinks his opinion is ultimate. I used to tell myself “even though I’m stepping into jdm territory, eventually I want a v8” but if I’m around this dude long enough I might reconsider lol

My aunt let me ride in her mustang when i was 3,my grandma had a 65 mustang than my uncle had before he died and my grandpa on my dad's side had a 70s mustang next door,i simply just grew up around the car,kinda made me want one
IDGAF what people say. I freakin love mustangs because they look sexy, affordable and make crazy power when tuned or boosted. They're the best bang for the buck
Look as brought out in this video there has definitely been ups and downs through out the years of the mustang *cough* *cough* Mustang Mach E *cough* but there was also been A TON OF UPSIDES. For example RUNNING 7S in the quarter mile with a UNOPENED block, and the new 2020 gt500 that can make 1100hp on the stock fuel system and a unopened engine, tune port the blower and a pulley and some e85 BAM 1100whp. Also Foxboddys being one of the best platforms for (dig) street racing. Also the mustang is one of the most versatile build platforms ever and can be used in stuff like Drifting, auto cross and drag racing. So I will always love them (as long as they are powered by Gas) regardless of the hate because to me there is nothing quite like them.
People who hate on the Mustang dont own them, driving one and probably never have. This longest running US muscle/ sports car and as the Challenger and the Camaro are about to be shelved again.. The Mustang remains king. My issue stems from the hate on the recent V6 37 mazda/mustang whose platform matches that of the 4.6 3V. And has the highest horsepower of its V8 predecessor.
i personally drive also a mustang - here in gemany its something "special" because not everybody has one. but i guess its the same in the USA with mustangs like here in germany with BMW/Audi/Mercedes. the typical stereotype guy who annoys people with their loud exhaust, can't handle the power, and one day will crash somewhere.

People love to hate on what they don't have. I was a chevy guy back in the early 00's until I bought my a mustang, it was slower than my trans am but so much more fun to drive and still got decent gas mileage.

because popular, people hate because popular. Hondas have been some of the most affordable and popular cars for sale in the US and so they get a ton of hate. Same goes for the mustang FORD is probably the most affordable and popular US Domestic brand so it gets hate because "everyone has it/wants it"
Hate us cause they aint us. But the biggest feuds are within the mustang community. It's pretty much coyote owners who know what they are talking about vs every other mustang owner who doesn't own a coyote and/or is a boomer/ricer.
I may not like mustangs due to their prevalence around my area, but it says a lot that my end goal is to be able to race 5.0's in my little honda. They're the benchmark in a lot of places and undoubtedly rich with heritage and history. A well built one is absolutely stunning too.
I've owned eleven mustangs in my lifetime so far, currently own a 2017 GT Premium that I purchased off the showroom floor brand new. I also work for the Blue Oval and did a few year stint managing in the paintshop of the Mustang plant in Flat Rock, MI. I'm a diehard for life. That said, the Mach-E is NOT, nor will it or any future iteration of it ever be, a mustang. It's just another shining testament to how we as a society somehow woke up one morning in Bizzaro World a couple of years ago and still haven't found a way back to Kansas yet.

Glossed over the model that nearly ended the Mustang and partly why. No one liked the foxbodies because of how anemic they were. Not just the 4 cylinder, but the v8 was so much weaker and slower than previous years that people weren't buying them till after the next generation came out because people learned you could stuff whatever engine in them and get instant results. Then you skipped over the most important years that literally saved the mustang from fully becoming the Ford probe because of the poor sales: the SN-95. The model from 1994 to 1998 was so well recieved because of the improvements in not only appearance but performance even better than the last 3 years of the fox body when they finally put an engine with some power in it. It was so well recieved that they just slapped on an edgy body on the SN-95-2 and it only got more loved. And what a lot of people forget is before the mustang crowd killer meme became a thing, camaros and corvettes were doing it back in the 80s and early 90s. Yet deep down I think a lot of people hate it because it set a new standard in cars where they didn't have to be landbarges with the biggest engine possible to be quick and also be able to handle.
I own the 17 gt and love it, the only reason I've never been a fan of American made cars is the lack of reliability. The MT-82 is just so uncomfortable to shift you need better fluid and a trans mounted Barton to enjoy it again. They need to get the engineering of the drive train right again with no ticks or bad manuals then make it last 200k with regular oil changes and it'll be a crowd pleaser again. Still love mine tho despite the issues it still makes me smile.
My first car was a '67 w/a 289. Some shit must have been done to that motor over the years because it was faster than it should have been. Wouldn't stop for shit, though.

My hate comes from Ford Dealership service. I purchased a 2018 GT with an extended factory warranty through 100k Miles and with Prepaid maintenance for 3 years. My first visit, my car was gone for 3 days for its first service (Oil change, tire rotation, filters etc) - no loaner. Then had a water leak from the rear window seal into the backseat...Car was out of my hands for another 21 days. Next visit, described a few other minor issues and how to replicate them exactly and the last dealership just ignored my asks and said they couldn't find anything. I will NEVER spend a decent amount of money with Ford again, knowing how their dealership network provides service once they have your $$$. This was all in under 6 months. I sold it and bought a 2017 Camaro 2SS.

I love Mustangs so much. Ive been eying dropping a modern Coyote into a 60s stang (and painting it baby pink with white stripes) HARD ever since i got into cars.
I don't like the Mach-E being called a Mustang either. However I think what Ford was trying to do was create a more performance division of Ford. I think Ford wanted to build off one of its most known name plates. Dodge has RAM and SRT and GM has GMC. They still could have renamed it after the defunct Thunderbird (Thunder/Lightning)and tied it into it being an electric vehicle however instead of Mustang.

The Mach E mustang is proof that most modern car designers are not actually car enthusiasts. Mitsubishi with the Eclipse, and Chevrolet with the Blazer did the same thing. Unfortunately they are not looking at what enthusiasts want, they are looking at the market trends and right now most just want an SUV.

Used to exclusively appreciate muscle cars, ended up getting an Ecoboost because I was 17 and didn’t know anything about cars, and wounded up surrounded with friends who drive tuners and stanced Japanese cars. Now I own an STI. I wasn’t exposed to a dreadful amount of 4cyl mustang hate but even going through comments, forums, etc it’s just such a crap community. There’s definitely some nice people who I’ve connected with but the negativity outweighs. I didn’t personally slide the car more than twice in a year of ownership but I’ve seen enough stereotypical owners that I never felt bad about the hate they get, even when I still had mine. My GF’s family recently moved to my state and her sister’s husband is a mustang meat head who has no filter and thinks his opinion is ultimate. I used to tell myself “even though I’m stepping into jdm territory, eventually I want a v8” but if I’m around this dude long enough I might reconsider lol

Look as brought out in this video there has definitely been ups and downs through out the years of the mustang *cough* *cough* Mustang Mach E *cough* but there was also been A TON OF UPSIDES. For example RUNNING 7S in the quarter mile with a UNOPENED block, and the new 2020 gt500 that can make 1100hp on the stock fuel system and a unopened engine, tune port the blower and a pulley and some e85 BAM 1100whp. Also Foxboddys being one of the best platforms for (dig) street racing. Also the mustang is one of the most versatile build platforms ever and can be used in stuff like Drifting, auto cross and drag racing. So I will always love them (as long as they are powered by Gas) regardless of the hate because to me there is nothing quite like them.

People who hate on the Mustang dont own them, driving one and probably never have. This longest running US muscle/ sports car and as the Challenger and the Camaro are about to be shelved again.. The Mustang remains king. My issue stems from the hate on the recent V6 37 mazda/mustang whose platform matches that of the 4.6 3V. And has the highest horsepower of its V8 predecessor.
My body had a 90's mustang in high-school and I remember having to give him rides almost daily because it was clapped out

Same goes for the mustang FORD is probably the most affordable and popular US Domestic brand so it gets hate because "everyone has it/wants it"

Hate us cause they aint us. But the biggest feuds are within the mustang community. It's pretty much coyote owners who know what they are talking about vs every other mustang owner who doesn't own a coyote and/or is a boomer/ricer.

I may not like mustangs due to their prevalence around my area, but it says a lot that my end goal is to be able to race 5.0's in my little honda. They're the benchmark in a lot of places and undoubtedly rich with heritage and history.

I've owned eleven mustangs in my lifetime so far, currently own a 2017 GT Premium that I purchased off the showroom floor brand new. I also work for the Blue Oval and did a few year stint managing in the paintshop of the Mustang plant in Flat Rock, MI. I'm a diehard for life. That said, the Mach-E is NOT, nor will it or any future iteration of it ever be, a mustang. It's just another shining testament to how we as a society somehow woke up one morning in Bizzaro World a couple of years ago and still haven't found a way back to Kansas yet.

Glossed over the model that nearly ended the Mustang and partly why. No one liked the foxbodies because of how anemic they were. Not just the 4 cylinder, but the v8 was so much weaker and slower than previous years that people weren't buying them till after the next generation came out because people learned you could stuff whatever engine in them and get instant results.
Then you skipped over the most important years that literally saved the mustang from fully becoming the Ford probe because of the poor sales: the SN-95. The model from 1994 to 1998 was so well recieved because of the improvements in not only appearance but performance even better than the last 3 years of the fox body when they finally put an engine with some power in it. It was so well recieved that they just slapped on an edgy body on the SN-95-2 and it only got more loved.
And what a lot of people forget is before the mustang crowd killer meme became a thing, camaros and corvettes were doing it back in the 80s and early 90s. Yet deep down I think a lot of people hate it because it set a new standard in cars where they didn't have to be landbarges with the biggest engine possible to be quick and also be able to handle.

I own the 17 gt and love it, the only reason I've never been a fan of American made cars is the lack of reliability. The MT-82 is just so uncomfortable to shift you need better fluid and a trans mounted Barton to enjoy it again. They need to get the engineering of the drive train right again with no ticks or bad manuals then make it last 200k with regular oil changes and it'll be a crowd pleaser again. Still love mine tho despite the issues it still makes me smile.
