Probably used a company like SKYPAX... That's what I have used in the past to get projects like this... And that's whom I'm using for this project as well
Was sent by Archon to show it off, but TheJoe has it down right, you can use services like that to get a real address they can send it to and then you pay to have them forward it to your real address :)
@@TheKingofAverage im normally not a area control type guy or even a warhammer type guy but man....this is my childhood favorite toy and they look so good, they might just make me finally enjoy those playstyle lol
Arcon does incredible minis and terrain. I absolutely love them and have been backing dungeons and lasers since season 2-4. Maybe you can help us there anything to use on the translucent plastic terrain to wash them. I tried using a matt varnish and a red army painter wash. On the lava terrain and I can’t get the details to pop. Have you heard anyone that can get the transculent plastic details to pop without priming and painting it. I don’t want to lose the clear plastic.
One thing I was thinking of is using a self priming paint (like a Vallejo paint that starts with 80.xxxx) and drybrushing on white and then using an ink to shift the color of that. Another option perhaps is they make a clear medium that is acrylic paint without any pigment at all. Perhaps use that instead of the varnish and then paint onto that?
Ah so you are thinking of the Fields of Eternia game from them. Last I heard they are waiting on Eastar to finish printing their cardboard material components.
@@TheKingofAverage Yes, lol... Had me worried I missed something... I can't wait for the Fields of Eternia project to arrive. But this unboxing has me excited!
THANKS KING FOR STAR TREK ASCENDANCY AND NEMESIS MINIATURE S DETAILS UNBOXING AND HONEST IN ALL THE WAY I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TIME SOON FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIEWING IN NEAR FUTURE ABOUT NEMESIS THE NEWBORN BEGINNING I WANNA TO SAY NEMESIS REBORN PART III THX BRO.
The minis coming on sprues definitely takes some of the sting out of these not being available stateside. If the sealed GW product taking up space in my closet is any indication, the game would never hit the table.
@@TheKingofAverage If you remove the extreme values and replace them with average numbers, ie. On a D10 remove the 1 and 10 and replace them with 5 and 6. The resulting dice would roll more average... Literally King of Average Dice!
Good review. This is a great game; I got ahold of it in the US a year ago despite the Europe-only distribution, and it's an absolute blast.
I sort of wish this had come to north america vs the license going to CMON, but is what it is. I'm still hopeful it will show up next year.
Yeah it's no fair, they get a full area control and a full skirmish game.
I heard that this game came with a castle dice tower. I'm curious how it looks and if anyone has done a review on it.
None of that for me anyway. The CMON one has that I think? But cost extra.
How did you get this to the US?

looks super cool. Wish we had not been stuck with CMON here.
I have high hopes for this! I really liked their area control game with the license so hoping the skirmish is fun too :)

MYAH! AND HE PRAYED!
hah! :D
When will this game arrive for me!?!?!? I backed their entire project last year and still waiting!!!!!

HAH! Please ignore my 4 combat patrol boxes with sprues in them in my background :D
I also took it... I was looking for the first wave expansion but damn the shipping is a lot
Ah the next wave of characters?
@@TheKingofAverage Yep there are two more characters for faction... but the shipping is almost the cost of 1 box :)
Gurr. I hate the dumb liscense issue.
Yeah it's a big bummer
If custom dice are so easy to make where are the King of Average dice?
hehe in due time I imagine. :D

Minis and Components are really nice. But the design of the character cards is 🗑️.
Yeah definitely a low point for me (but not as bad as the dice)
Hard agree. Is actually turning me off grabbing a copy!
Best Skirmish game ever for me... 10/10
oooh that's great to hear!
Probably a minority, but zero interest in either version of this game. Was just never into this IP.
I doubt the minority :) MOTU is fun and fairly popular but it's no like, Marvel or something :)
