Hi Taylor, I'm so happy I just discovered your channel. You have some great tips for real estate videos. Thank you for all of your hard work! You gained a subscriber!
Thanks Taylor: This video did answer my question that I had submitted on your previous video. I had noted that my DJI OM5 just moved too much even when balanced. I was unaware that holding down the trigger put the gimbal into a "Lock Orientation." That answered my question and it all now works just fine. Again, thanks.
Hi Taylor First of all, I’m literally glowed to your Chanel! I was reading the comments re-best gimbal mode to video, and I see you said you like using follow. I have just bought the DJI osmo 6 - having in mind to use it for real estate videos, but I am so frustrated that it just not doing what I thought it would…. Meaning, it really moves way too much, and I don’t feel like it’s clutched and steady as if it was in my 2 hands + being stabilized and smooth. I am hooked to your content and I would love to show you what I was able to achieve so far… Please advice further then the long hold on the button - I just feel it’s locked on a point rather then being locked axis and video straight and steady. To end it up - Where can I see just actual full real estate videos of yours to see what things should look like, be inspired, have the right idea what things are meant to look like… Thanks a mill Taylor You are fantastic!!
0:00 📱 Tips for balancing your smartphone on a gimbal: Start by aligning the mounting plate correctly to ensure balance. 1:30 🔄 Use your phone's level app to fine-tune balance without relying on the gimbal's app, ensuring straight and level shots. 3:01 🔄 Balancing for vertical vs. horizontal shots differs slightly; adjust accordingly to maintain level framing. 3:16 📲 Utilize the DJI Mimo app for advanced gimbal settings and calibration, enhancing stability and control during filming. 4:20 🌟 Bonus tips: Keep elbows close for stability, use gimbal trigger to lock orientation, ensuring consistent level shots throughout.
Great idea! It changes from shot to shot , but I keep my ISO at my cameras native iso which is 400 most of the time if I can (and if there’s no option I’ll increase in multiples or that like 800, or 1200) Usually 30 fps for everything & shutter speed 1/60. Aperture usually f2-4 and for exteriors I use a variable ND to compensate for the different exposure without changing other settings. Sometimes I’ll use 60fps if I can for detail shots or things that will look better in slower motion but I keep it pretty simple! Also usually 5600K white balance for exteriors and 4800K is a good starting point for most interiors with lights on.
Hey Taylor, I’m looking at buying a gimbal for real estate and I was curious why you picked the DJI and if you had a chance would you pick a different one? Thank you!
Hey! I’ve just always had good results with their products so I got that one. Plus the extender is cool! But other ones are likely going to be fine especially for phones they’re all pretty similar
Amazing content, Taylor. I really loved it! I’d like if you know how can I buy an iPhone from EUA and export it for Brazil. I really want purchase the iPhone 13, but is sooo expensive here. Anyway, nice video. Keep making such good videos! 🎉
Thanks!! 😬 Honestly I have no idea, thats a bummer. If it’s cheaper to go with a mirrorless camera setup, go for that instead !! Also I’ve seen great things about android phones if those are more accessible there ??
Really amazing man! Tell me something I´m buying an OM 6 to film with an Android Sansung Galaxy but I read some comments that there having some function bugs even shooting 4k 60fps not working, have u seen that? Although some said that you can shoot not with the Mimo app but you can with the own Android Smartphone Camera, it´s true? And thanks for the tips.
Hi Taylor, would you say the DJI Osmo 6 is better to get nowadays to use along an iPhone 15 Pro Max, is there a big difference (or improvement) over the Osmo 5? Thanks!
Probably one of these will help - Make sure to always clean the lens before shooting anything. And might need to block the sun a little with your hand if you’re outside and it’s hitting the lens a lot directly. Could be scratched if it’s really bad though 😬

Best tutorial. Thank you!! I never knew what these grid lines were for…..what? 😂😂. I will be balanced from now on. ❤
Ha! Have fun 😁
Please make a video for best camera settings to shoot a real estate video from outside and inside,I have Sony Zv-E10 camera with Sony F1.8 lens.

Thank you! What’s the best mode on the fumble if you are doing a simple walk through for a property?
Pan follow 👌
love the watch
Thanks!
This was so helpful ❤❤❤

@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo yes, they're more compatible (in terms of prices) here. Anyway, thanks for support and attention.
For sure! Let me know how it goes

Hey! Not sure but as long as your phone camera app works it shouldn’t be affected by the gimbal or vice versa.
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo Yeah! I hope it´s does. Thanks.
Do you shoot your real estate videos from within the Mimo app or with your iPhone camera app?
All the ones on the channel have just been with the iPhone camera app
Hi Taylor, would you say the DJI Osmo 6 is better to get nowadays to use along an iPhone 15 Pro Max, is there a big difference (or improvement) over the Osmo 5? Thanks!
Hey! I don’t have one so I don’t know. I’d think they’ve improved it in some ways though so probably yes.
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo thank you!
I have one question how long 1 shoot length? 1 room video length ?
Time for production: 1 hour (more if doing drone), Recording time length: usually 10-15 seconds per shot
Which video mode do you use for real estate photography….follow mode or tilt lock mode?
Follow mode for real estate videos is great!
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo Thank you very much for all your help
No prob!
Do you shoot at 30 or 60 fps on your iPhone? Also, how wide do you shoot? 0.5 or normal? I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro. Thanks!
.5 ultra wide, hdr, 4k, mostly 30fps for wide shots (edited down to 80% speed for smoother look), and 60fps for detail shots with the other lenses.
Hi, will the DJI Osmo Mobile SE work the same for real estate videos?
If it supports your phone well - Yes. Really most phone gimbals are pretty comparable from my experience! This is just the one I ended up getting.
What mode do you want to be in when filming a home tour ?
Hey Blake! I always set it up for follower mode. My favorite. How are things going for you?
What did you use for editing ?
Final Cut Pro. Davinci is great too and free !
I feel like my videos get hazy on .5 and lots of light streaks! 😢 any suggestions ?

what setting you use for real estate
Pan follow
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo Thank you! can you make a video on how exactly you slow down the videos when your editing it. Thank you
so we dont even need a camera for real estate videos? we can use our phone instead?
Some people do! Just depends on the market / price point you’re going for.
You’ll never get as good as photos without a legit camera. But for video, the phones now are great honestly
