Doctor here. How do we work feeling drained and in need of coffee? I have no idea! I guess we get used to that. It happens, a lot. If you go to the ER at 7, at least in my country, everyone has been there for at least 12hours. Doctors sometimes are finishing a 24hr shift. If you can wait, try to arrive about 8:20, when everyone is fresh! I admire all the work you do. We work a lot when on the job, but you work a lot when you are home too! that's amazing. I just unplug from the hospital, so, even if I've had the worst day ever, I can leave that at the hospital. You always have stuff to do. That must be exhausting. Good luck with your end of year planning!
You have definitely inspired me to become a reading teacher! (Currently teaching special education, middle school math, but going back for my masters in curriculum and instruction:reading and literacy)
So this is why I love your channel...you are innovative, inspiring and very real. You are also quite positive and that is refreshing. Even if you feel like you are not positive at times, you are and it's great to see. I've seen other teachers on UA-cam that complain for 99% of their video and it is kinda draining. Thanks for being you and I hope the year finishes smooth for you so that you can REST. 👍
Love watching your videos! I found you last summer and can't get enough. Thank you for sharing so much of you with us! I agree with you about grading. I take things home when I have testing periods, like end of quarter testing because there is just SO much and there's no way to get it all done at school. I feel like I can do that at home on the couch watching a show in my jammies and while I'm at school I can do thing in my room that I can't do at home. I don't mind doing it once a quarter to get it all done so I am not drowning in papers.
Question! ❤️ Could you please tell us a bit about how you handle certain behavior management situations in your class. Like some common situations and then what your response would be? I feel like I am still struggling responding consistently in situations! PS love the sticker system for your library 😊
I would LOVE to hear more about your "Move the Pride" Day where upcoming students visit their next year's teachers!! What do you do with the kids you see? Do you combine them all together as a team? Do you do any activities with them or just an introduction to what they might do next year? Lots of questions! But I am excited to hear back!! :)
Ahhh, OMG! ! ! Did you go to the Schoolastic warehouse last Tuesday, 5/16/17 in Strongsville!? I was there after school hours! Loved the regular sale, teacher discount, & coupon deals!
I love watching you. I feel we could be teacher besties if I worked with you. I taught Kinder then I was moved to fourth to teach ELAR, and I am a mother as well.
When are you going to be uploading your videos? How are you feeling about you end of the year? What do you look forward to next year? What do you look favored for next year?
