The AL series bulbs were a FANTASTIC plug and play solution, cost effective and high quality. My only issue is that I had condensation issues in one fog light, it was replaced by the factory and the problem still persists. I now have condensation in my other fog light housing and could find that the only common denominator causing this was the bulbs. I am not too sure what I can do about this because these light really do have a fantastic look and quality about them. I am just pretty disappointing that my fog lights keep gathering condensation from these AL series bulbs. As far as my low/high beams are concerned they are a PERFECT fit for the car and I have not seen ANY of the issues I am having with my fog light. OLM really does know how to do it well, I just wish I wasn't having this fluke!
I have all halogen bulbs on my 16 WRX Base with no fogs. What would I have to purchase to achieve the highest light output for all of my lights and install fogs?
can i just plug one of these into my base wrx to replace the hallogen bulbs? will this simply change hallogen to leds? do i need new headlights for this?
Comparison to stock bulbs would have been cool, and are you showing those bulbs light through the projector or just lighting them up with no enclosure? I'm interested in how the light desperses through a projector more than what it looks like lit up.
I'm thinking about getting the AL's for the upgrade to my '15 Crosstrek. Are they an easy plug and play install to the headlights? Also, I think if you ever wear an STI shirt you look Yolk'd.
Are these bulbs a direct upgrade from the stock halogen bulbs? No conversion kits? I'm looking to swap to LED from my halogens since I didn't get the limited package.
can i combine that high beam LED bulb to HID low beam light. How come when i changed the low beam halogen light to HID, when i put on high beam, why the HID light won't turned auto off?
The lighting you see in this video is shown with the OLM Bixenon Projectors. With HIDs, you'll get a more intense light with a pretty uniform spread pattern.
So what type of bulb does my 2015 wrx limted come with ...i know the drl are halogen cuz it looks like crap but my headlight is led or hid? Can i upgrade that bulb to led and what bulb is brightest or brighter than my oem headlight bulb....?
SubiSpeed so my only option is changeing the ugly drl ... i want the brightest drl ... what do you guys suggest? I have moab bulb in my fog lights that came with the sticker to change the color temp or color lol but when i need more light i use my high beems so that halogen is useless i need to change that drl bulb for something bright? I want LEDs . What do you guys recommend ?
Also the OLM bulbs for the C-light/boomerang bulb dont light up the full C-light on my car. Is that normal. Ive seen other wrxs with the full C-light illuminated.
yeah its normal. to get the full C-light you need to buy the Diode Dynamics C-light or Morimoto C-light. And to put those in you need to bake the headlight and take it apart.
Unfortunately this install isn't likely to happen due to the fact we have quite a bit of holes in our trunks already. The install itself is pretty self explanatory with the template that we provide.
I am looking into a DRL LED upgrade for my 2016 WRX Limited..I have already replaced my lower fog lamps with two incredibly bright 3000 lumen LED's each wrapped with dbl yellow films for incredible bright amber yellow fog cutting!!,... So what would you suggest for the DRL's ?
SubiSpeed i see, i’m also wondering about the Al series bulb, how it compares to the stock halogen bulbs on the premium and base wrx trim, is the light depth greater, or about the same?
Literally just installed the alpha HD bulbs in my wrx. I absolutely love them. Insane upgrade over stock. Thanks again for wicked products.
Glad you enjoy them! Certainly better than the stock bulbs.

Can't tell if Kev is getting yoked or his shirt is too small. Maybe a little bit of both.
Savage Grace He probably grabbed an XS.
If i buy that shirt you are wearing, will it make me look more buff?
YOLK'D
Of course, John! Maybe we should put a disclaimer on the product pages. *Warning, this shirt may make you look YOLK'D
I have the olm DRL and Figs installed in my 15 limited. I love them!
Pretty much set with those in your Limited headlights and fog lights! Safe driving out there!
somebody is hitting the Gym lately lol
knight Elite photoshop... ;)
I have all halogen bulbs on my 16 WRX Base with no fogs. What would I have to purchase to achieve the highest light output for all of my lights and install fogs?
need a full kit ( low, high, beam an fog light) to match morimoto c-light
can i just plug one of these into my base wrx to replace the hallogen bulbs? will this simply change hallogen to leds? do i need new headlights for this?
Were you using the factory halogen projector when you did the demo on the olm leds? Or was that an upgraded projector?
Comparison to stock bulbs would have been cool, and are you showing those bulbs light through the projector or just lighting them up with no enclosure? I'm interested in how the light desperses through a projector more than what it looks like lit up.
These demonstrations were shown using a projector.
Cool, Thank you.

Hey Kevin I would like to use one of these products to replace the drl bulbs... does any of these bulbs have a high beam function?
Osvaldo Lopez the MOAB and MOAB lites are available as DRLs
All the bulbs are available for use as high beams as well.
Been using my MOAB DRL lights for a few days and I am extremely satisfied thanks 💪🏻
When you guys are going to add PIAA Lighting in your website stock?
hey, I don't see the link in the video or the description on the morimoto retro lights. Also is there a way to just purchase the housing?
Any chance to show the AL, Alpha, and MOAB in stock halogen projectors?
Would these fit with the 18s Wrx?
Are these bulbs a direct upgrade from the stock halogen bulbs? No conversion kits? I'm looking to swap to LED from my halogens since I didn't get the limited package.
Matthew Robison that is correct.
Which lamp models are used on stock headlights? Example H4, H11 etc. Low beam, high beam and fog.
The 2017 has LED lights already is there anything else we can do to make it brighter/better?
Hey Kev,
For the AL series what are the two additional wires that come with it?
Is it difficult to install LED headlight bulbs on 2018 WRX? Can you show me step by step?
can i combine that high beam LED bulb to HID low beam light. How come when i changed the low beam halogen light to HID, when i put on high beam, why the HID light won't turned auto off?
how about the olm bixenon fog light kit... led bulb vs hid bulb
The lighting you see in this video is shown with the OLM Bixenon Projectors. With HIDs, you'll get a more intense light with a pretty uniform spread pattern.
can you run led in the 2015 limited projectors or can you only run hids
Colby Noland those bulbs are built into the headlights and cannot be changed.
SubiSpeed thanks and I'm liking the parts I got about to get the gurney flap and Tails as turns next
Colby Noland wait!! My 2015 Wrx Limted has Hids for headlights!?!? i could of swron they were LEDs ...?
Royal_ Subie they are leds
SubiSpeed and they cant be changed correct ?
So what type of bulb does my 2015 wrx limted come with ...i know the drl are halogen cuz it looks like crap but my headlight is led or hid? Can i upgrade that bulb to led and what bulb is brightest or brighter than my oem headlight bulb....?
Royal_ Subie Your limited headlights have a built in LED for the low beam which cannot be changed.
Royal_ Subie the Alpha HD is gonna be your best bet.
Thanks for the help ! My next purchase :)
Do an install on the Morimoto hid kit
ua-cam.com/video/-9_pUDO6kjo/v-deo.html
Basically the same install in that video without the cutting.
Which one do I get for the daytime running lights currently have the limited Wrx already comes with LED
www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/lighting/high-beams-drls
what about the 2016 STI base projectors? my car has led low beams from factory. are the alphas going to be significantly brighter in that projector
rick roll the LEDs are built into the STI headlights and cannot be changed. You can, however, upgrade your high beams and fogs.
So how would it be changed if it blows out? Replace the entire housing?
rick roll that is correct.
Bottom Out Garage ah i see. Thanks for the reply man.
Bottom Out Garage is correct. By just changing out the bulb it won't light up the full C-light.
Which ones are you putting in for the 9005 high beam?
Can I see those for my STI?
For the high beams we recommend the Alpha HD. Here is an old video that showcases the improvement.
ua-cam.com/video/-ISnOjtCBYI/v-deo.html

Any suggestion to replace stock DRL bulbs on a 2017 WRX limited?
Harshan Perera auxbeam led 9005 from auxbeam.com only 40$ and work great
mine are starting to flicker sometimes they dont even come on.... : /
Please email sales@subispeed.com for any warranty issues.
OLM AL fit the 2018 WRX?
How can I straight my headlights? One of the left side if looking up and one of the right side is looking down
There are adjustment screws in the back
Will they fit 17 Forester XT premium and are they sold as pairs?
Yes and yes!
Nice, this will be my next purchase. Hey Kev, where can I get a shirt like that ?! :D
www.subispeed.com/subaru-men-s-rally-team-usa-official-polo-universal#.WLclwvkrJhE
Gracias !
which one can i used for high beam / running lights
Enrique Escalante the 9005 bulbs. I recently purchased auxbeam leds for only 40$ they’re great and put out way more light.
can you make an install for the olm sti spoilers?
Unfortunately this install isn't likely to happen due to the fact we have quite a bit of holes in our trunks already. The install itself is pretty self explanatory with the template that we provide.
What camera lens yall use?
peter in this video we used and 85mm and 24mm.
Robert Eckes auxbeam 9005 f-16 leds cheaper and work great!
Giveaway?!
Fog lights?
www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/lighting/fog-lights
i have a wrx sti ltd 2017 need to some led daylight for fog light what should i do nothing too crazy just tired of the yellow light
Wouldn’t these bulbs blind oncoming traffic and people behind you? I’ve heard that you shouldn’t put LED’s in a Halogen housing because of glare
These cars use projectors that do a very good job with LEDs.
SubiSpeed i see, i’m also wondering about the Al series bulb, how it compares to the stock halogen bulbs on the premium and base wrx trim, is the light depth greater, or about the same?
@@Rebirth3362 you will see a great improvement compared to halogen bulbs. If you want the brightest bulbs we offer, look into the Alpha HD series.
Will the led light options work for the base 2020 WRX?
Do you have anything for 2013 wrx?
Does this fit a 2019 base wrx?
