  • The Silencer Central Baffle Removal Tool allows users to safely disassemble and clean a dirty user-serviceable silencer. The Baffle Removal Tool features corrosion resistant finished alloy steel construction and a piloted brass pusher tip (for .22, .23, .308 threads) to minimize contact wear on the baffles. The baffle removal tool can be used to disassemble any .308, .223, or .22 rimfire silencer that has a removable front-end cap and 5/8-24 TPI or 1/2-28 TPI threads.

The manual says end cap should be torqued to 110-120. You say hand tight. Which is it?

I purchased this tool 7 weeks ago still haven't received it. Silencer central says they are backorder, not sure when they will get them, but they are still selling them.

I paid for mine in December of 23 when I bought my Can. Was everything would be delivered when the Form 4 was approved. Once the Form 4 was approved my Can was shipped along with everything else i ordered except the tool. When I called to find out what was going on I was told when they had their sale (buy 1 can and get a 22 Can for free) they sold out and were on back order. Never sent me an e-mail telling me they were on Back Order. I've called 4 times including last on the 2nd of August when I was told they had received enough tools to fill all back orders and have some in stock. Told me they would go out last week or this coming week of the 11th. I'm not a happy customer. They have had my money for over 8 months.

For what you pay these should just come with it. $60 for a piece of all-thread, two nuts and a piece of brass really makes me question the value of the suppressors.

See my response above regarding the timeline these things have been on back order. They lowered the price to $49.99. LOL! When it shows up hopefully this week and if it is as you have described it I'll be cussing like a sailor. The problem is I haven't seen an baffle removal tool other than the ones they offer. Haven't seen a video on making one either. They are offering the only ones I've seen. Unfortunately I think they have cornered the market. IMO the cost of a can is outrageous in the first place driven up buy manufacturers and dealers just because they are ATF controlled items.
