As a musician, I love that he placed actual musicians in the scene! It truly is painful watching actors poorly attempt to hold instruments lol, so I respect directors who put actual musicians in their movies.

The amount of respect this guy has for his team member is really amazing.
I'm not Asian but I was blown away by how good this movie was. One of the best and most fun movies I've seen in my life. The picture and sound quality was unbelievable, too.
If this doesn't win an Oscar for best film, it would be an honest tragedy.

I recommend 3 idiots and bahubali if you want more of that experience. One of the best movies you'll ever see. There are many other gorgeous films based on epics like padmavat and bajirao mastani. All of these are Indian movies.

Very proud what RRR has done to Indian cinema. Many ppl around the World and also Indians really lack an understanding of Indian storytelling structure and its diversity, so RRR is a very important moment for Indian cinema which concludes that Emotion has no barriers. One man made Indian cinema what it is today, with Baahubali series he broke regional barriers within India and started the Pan Indian cinema movement - With RRR he's taking that Indian cinema to the World. The Torch bearer and Pride of Indian cinema - SS Rajamouli sir. Thank you for always taking Indian cinema to new heights 🙌

This is the first fully Indian film I've ever seen and... Wow! Hollywood has nothing on this film! The dances, over the top fights, chemistry between the characters, ect are just amazing and so fun
I still don't know how are foreigners obsessed with rrr like india has been making these type of films for like 50 years. We thought foreigners don't like these type of masala movies but they do. I guess they never watched these movies to begin with just judged it them with first look. Like judging a book by its cover. Glad people like masala movies just as much as indians.

Because in india we have no unity , some people in India hate telugu languagers , i mean not everyone are like that but lot of people really feel so jealous on telugu language people and not only this we also have cast feelings, religion feelings and our politicians and government brainwashed us like that, they are the main culprits to our country , Indians have to understand that India is not one state or one language , India is full of culture and diversity which is mixed by all states and languages . Actually it wasn't hate or ego. The indian Oscars nomination committee is just dumb. Idk why but they are scared of showing indian movies as anti British. Before RRR it was Sardar Udham which is another beautiful indian film based on true story. People were mad about why Sardar udham was not indias submission for Oscars. The reason they gave was that the movie incites and potrays hatred against English people even though it was based on a true story. Hence same reason for RRR. Sad.
Talking about this movie particularly, it doesn't deserve any critical acclaim, leave alone Oscars and stuffs. This movie is utterly grandiose in fantasy. Not a single piece can be traced back to authenticity. Even the colonial sets used were not authentic. It's Kiev. That's another part of Europe. The characters didn't leave Indian shores in the film. Do you think Oscar Juries are this dumb?
So much respect to this man for hiering real musicians for the song. Exactly what we want in movies to have ppl who know how to hold their respective instruments the correct way.

Leave aside the filmmaking aspect. Just look at this man’s vision, courage and audacity. He dreams big, and boy does he achieve his dreams in style. He broke language barriers, now breaking into global cinema and making a name for himself. LoL.... Delivering fantasy driven masala movies and calling it authentic cinema is utter foolishness - not of the director, but of the audiences. The director vision paid off when he delivered a chic of the bloc ordinary fantasizing tale and told that it's a film about India's freedom struggle, and audience believed him. Such frivolous reasoning is valid only with Indian audiences.

This man always rooted for audience's clapping, cheering and shouting in the theaters while watching his films, which he got in hai Telugu states. But see the almighty of God and Fate, now he is getting that everywhere in the world wherever he attends RRR's screenings! Imagine getting the thing you love the most and that too more than you want. You will be overwhelmed. So I think all this energy and brightness here is just a miniature, and Rajamouli is trying to suppress the real enjoyment he is getting.

RRR is one of the greatest movies of all time. I'm so glad they won at least for this song. I want it to be played at my wedding, I just need to learn the dance moves.
Buddy your wedding suit is gonna hate you for this haha. Make sure to have your suit fit you for the event but still be loose enough to endure the snappy movements of the dance.
You can see the genuine joy he had both making and re-watching this scene - and it matches the level of joy of the audience who watched the scene as well.

Despite the language difference North India openly gives credits to South movies. South Indian Hindi dubbed movies are making more than Hindi movies.
If RRR wasn't a pan India success first, it would have been success overseas. There's reason why Rajamouli put 2 Bollywood artists too.
I don’t really watch Indian film but I came across it one day and watched it and loved it this scene was one of my favorites and the passion they had dancing is incredible and the thought process behind everything is amazing 10/10 movie ❤

Considering how things are going in present Hollywood, These kind of mass entertainer movies are so rare, so proud to see SSR getting all the praise for RRR. Imagine someone sneaking in those Baahubali movies to western media, they would definitely be blown away and have a different response now than before to those legendary movies.
I feel so proud that RRR getting the limelight it deserves. Getting that oscar will really leave a mark of Indian Cinema in the modern cinema.

It is such a beautiful film! It had like everthing, I could ask for. And I always got why the characters did, what they did. It was a masterpiece in my eyes.
And that song especially. It really came off as fun for the girls, like: "nice! something diffrent and way less stiff!" and like a war proclamation for the guys. I really love those scenes. And all the warm colours and the expressions everyone makes. It just fits perfectly together!
And to know it was filmed in ukraine makes it kinda more amazing~
