National City: All Hell Breaks Out 12192022

A Hispanic male in a Jeep hit a vehicle with a family inside on Mile of Cars Way. The male turned into the very busy Southport Plaza and started to ram other vehiclesin front of the "In & Out Burgers" restaurant.
Officers were nearby and responded quickly. The male rammed a total of 7 vehicles including two Police vehicles. The male then drove back out onto Mile of Cars way and stopped in the intersection at Wilson where the first crash had happened.
A Good Samaritan who had witnessed it all said she was checking on the family in the first accident, when she looked up and the suspect was approaching her on foot, punding on his chest and screaming :What-What"?.
He started to run at her and she fled back into the "In & Out" parking lot as others also ran away.
The suspect eventually ran through the strip mall and ended up on Interstate 5. The man was captured by National City officers. Two people were transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries. Mile of Cars Way is closed from the I-5 to Hoover Ave.
The witness called the suspect a "gentleman". There was nothing gentlemanly about the suspect.

I think it's more of an illegal invasion crisis.
The city, San Diego, does have a mental health crisis. SOME citizens, who deliberately chose to walk the wild life, need to find real-life consequence for hurting others. Mental illness shouldn't be a "get out of jail free" card...but here we are!

It seems that Doug knew more about what transpired throughout this whole event than that National City Officer that he was interviewing. Who needs a PIO when you have Doug who knows more to what happened than the officers 👮♂️

I live at Wilson Ave. Couple of of block from Miles of Cars wat, and saw the jeep speeding at least 60+ miles and no cop tailing him, wich make me believe that they where called after the first car hit, or maybe he was going to fast leaving the cops behind, I hope everyone recovers quick from this mess🙏
The suspect used his car as a lethal weapon. He was probably high( my money is on meth) and everyone had to pay for it.
