Thanks for the list. You forgot to write amount of sugar
Bless you 😊
I added 1 tsp cinnamon. 🎉 and soaked my raisins first. these are the best.
@@cherylwooley852 I was just thinking it probably needs some cinnamon - was one teaspoon enough?
@@robinkershen1054 personally i'd use nutmeg, freshly ground or grated. just my preference.
I have tried and tried every freaking recipe of "soft chewy" oatmeal cookie on UA-cam and NEVER turned out as I wanted.... THIS IS IT, I made the perfect chewy yummy oatmeal raisins cookies ❤ thank you so much
I've always used the recipe by Inspired Taste.

AND I BAKING ANOTHER BATCH!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY!!! AMEN 🙏 TYFS, IM NOT MISPLACING THIS RECIPE!!! AGAIN!!!THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!🎉😊❤
I made these yesterday for Christmas and they are now my favorite cookie ever! They are so easy to make and I cut the recipe in half and still got so many cookies. We're making these for New Year's day.
Whay kind of oats?I have quick oats
Only old fashioned oats...NEVER QUICK oats!!!! Brown ur butter though, it's just a richer tasting cookie 🍪 😋
Just made these... SOOOO good!
Thank you Katie!!
Just made these but tweaked it and added a teaspoon of cinnamon and half a teaspoon of nutmeg. And Instead of leaving them in balls, I flattened them down a smidge so they open up bigger while they baked. Overall the recipe is delicious and they’re moist 👍🏼
This cookie recipe is the bomb!!! It's perfect. Thank you.
wow, this oatmeal raisin cookies is perfect and presented, thanks for sharing friend
Katie I just finished making your soft and chewy Oatmeal raisin cookies and I fowled your respite to the tee and found it the best respite ever I did not change a thing But I added a little hint, I used a 12X16 cookie sheet and parchment paper and a medium cookie scoop and got 15 cookies to a sheet and it made 45 cookies. Thanks for the Respite Ken
Can you add the recipe to the description box. Just makes it easier to follow and put together
I agree, too hard to write and watch 😡
This recipe is the best oatmeal cookie recipe I’ve ever made. It’s my hubby’s favorite! The first time I made them I added cranberries with the raisins. I have some in the oven now that I only put cranberries in. Thank you for the easy and wonderful recipe! ❤️❤️
Love that!!
Added chocolate chips to half & raisins to the other half! Delicious!!😋
I never post but I use this recipe as a base for other cookies, hands down the best ever.
Nice video, easy to follow and nice background music. Thumbs up
Thank you for the recipe.
I like it so much 🙏👍🏽
Just learning to bake ❤but loved this recipe and appreciate you sharing it 😊
Thank you for sharing! Just made them and my family and I loved them.
Hi from Kansas, this is the recipe I was looking for! I used to be a huge cookie baker!now that I'm retired, I can bake cookies again, but the last one I tried just wasn't it.
This recipe is delicious i added 1 tsp of cinnamon and nutmeg powder, and also only used the 1 cup of brown sugar n it was the perfect sweetness
Thank you for sharing sweetie, ❤I’m going to try it. 😊
This recipe is very good, I added 1tsp cinnamon and nutmeg to mine. The cookies are very soft and yummy. They may be too sweet for some people though. Also if your going to try this recipe, note that this batch made about 40 normal sized cookies for me. I’ll probably cut it in half next time. Great recipe though and thx for sharing.
Ok that's what i was wondering. It looked like it makes a bunch but we are making them anyways but i may trim the sugar a little
Thank you for your comment! I was wonder was 1cup of sugar enough. Sometimes with recipes I wish I added more sugar.
Mine are frisbees does this batter need to be chilled?
I just made these and they we're delicious.
My sisters kids wouldnt eat raisin untill i made this recipe and added my own twist. Now they cant stop eating them. 😂
Hi Katie
Can i ass water to the dough if seem a little dry and having any moisture
Add
Comes out good. Thanks
Your Gramas oatmeal cookies are perfect.
I've made these 3 times now and the first 2 times I made the cookies huge so i got a cookie scoop but they drop so thin they're almost transparent. Any one know what I'm doing wrong, should I perhaps refrigerate cookie dough before baking?
What type of oats do you use old fashion or quick oats?
Old fashioned oats .the quick oats won't do
I had never heard about a liner until I watched your video, thank you!
Matt Vlogs glad I could help :)
Thanks for video ,I made my first cookies , I like the music as you work . Good information
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed them :)
I just made these with the recipe on top of oatmeal box I couldnt get it to stay together in a ball it came all apart..but went on ahead done what I could put in oven on 350 for 10 min came out gooey and I let my pan sit for 5 min. Then went back to put on a rack and they were hard as a rock????
Thank you❤❤❤
I do everything that you say to put in and my cookies still come out hard
These were the best cookies I ever made.
It's easier to use an ice cream scoop to divide the cookie dough
do u have a written recipe of this?
Hii I'm wondering if you used dark brown sugar or light brown sugar ?
Me too. It would be a lot easier if the ingredients were enclosed in the description box.
Looked like light brown sugar. When ever a recipe doesn't indicate which sugar to use, I always go with light brown sugar. Hope this helps....
@@marybirder5663 that's what I was thinking too. Now that winter is approaching again, I will be doing a lot more baking. Thank you for responding to her question.
@@charlottesometimes6853 light brown sugar! But I think I’ve made them with dark as well and it was still good.
What kind of oats? Quick oats, or old fashioned?
What kind of oats?
Finally an easy video to follow. My mom has always wanted to eat homemade oatmeal raisin cookies, so I’m going to surprise her! And also all of the other videos were hard to follow. This one isnt.
they are home made they are ANZAC biscuits not cookies and you go report your self to the cops and ask them to fine you.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. 😊
Thanks for sharing your grandmother's secret and world famous recipe. 🍪🍪
I love that
Tried one yesterday and thought it was gonna be the best. They said to let the dough in the fridge for 20 minutes. 1tbsp per cookie, 2 inches apart, flatten a bit and bake for 12-14 minutes. Also, to cover the raisins with warm water for 10-15mins, drain then pat. AND, they were not soft and didn't even spread. I hope this one does better. Thank You
Is it ok to add nutmeg and cinnamon
I haven’t tried it with nutmeg, but I’m sure they’ll be delicious. Let me know if you try it!
Can you write your recipe on the video description please? Would be very help so we know what to grab from the market.
Why does my dough turn out so wet and sticky??? Ughhh does butter brand matter?
Looked up song acoustic version of fast car
I only have instant . Idk why they wouldn’t work, if they’re not over mixed.
The first time I tried this recipe it was a disaster. Second time I altered it a little. If you have a food processor - ground the instant oats first. Boil water and soak the raisins in the water for 20-30 minutes (use only enough water to cover the raisins). Put the flour, oats, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in mixing bowl and stir. Add the vanilla extract and eggs. Stir well making sure the egg is fully mixed in. I added a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Melt the butter either on stovetop or microwave. Let it cool a minute before adding it. Drain the raisins and add them to the dough. Then store dough in refrigerator for 15 minutes. After that you're all set to bake. I retried making this recipe today and the cookie dough was much better and the cookies are delicious Hoping this helps 😌
This recipe is in any good cook book. I can remember making these with my grandma. I can not see anything different that makes it your recipe though.
Where is the written recipe
I cooked them for 17 minutes with the added ingredients.
Can I reduce cup sugar to half without killing goodness of recipe , trying cut back sugar
Hmm I’ve never tried that, but give it a whirl and let me know how they turn out!
Maybe applesauce
Man those cookies were great ,I made them
This is pretty much the same as the Quaker Oats oatmeal cookie recipe. Really good cookies though
I have started baking more because North American baked goods are sickeningly sweet.I substituted 1 cup of sugar with 1/2 a cup of stevia and decreased the 1 cup of brown sugar to 1/2 a cup.
I will try this recipe again with only 1/2 cup of stevia and eliminate the brown sugar entirely.
I added 1/4 cup of sorghum molasses and 1 tsp of cinnamon to this recipe. The cookies are superb.
Yummy
Se ven deliciosas !!
I’m shocked she didn’t put any spices, cinnamon, all spice, apple spice or nutmeg something it all brings the flavors out in mine.
I was also thinking I missed something, but I will add cinnamon, nutmeg (I also have pumpkin pie spice - maybe a little)
True add some
No spices in oatmeal raisin cookies!?!??
Add
u lowkey fine
She got that christian vibe which kinda makes it worse but damn she alright
Why not write out recipe for all? Decent thing to do.
Why don’t you write it since you’re the only one one here complaining
Sadly this recipe is as unhealthy aw any other store bought Oatmeal or any other store bought Biscuit.
Would be nice if you Would have said butter is UNSALTED!
Well if you add salt, then you would need to use unsalted butter. If you DON'T add salt, then use salted butter.
Would be *really* nice if you already *knew* recipes for baking cookies & cakes *always* use *unsalted* butter. smh
Just the basic oatmeal cookie recipe. Nothing special here. Cookies are OK .
To much sugar that's a killer...
No!
No, no no!
I don’t like to follow people who don’t write the recipe. Thanks anyway.
You're not a nice person. Of all things to complain about...no one ask you to follow this lady anyway.
She clearly said every measurement & ingredient?? 🍪 weird comment!
A written recipe in description is wanted please. Can’t be that hard to do. Then I will follow. Thanks
Any one write it down to share if she won’t 🤔🤔🤔
Guess she isn’t coming back to add recipe. 4 years on here. , but someone did, please add spices, even molasses ( 1/4 cup) sounds good. Softer cookie then.
Too much sugar, lol
