His hands are so tiny. I replaced all my MakeToys seekers hands with modded KFC hands & also replaced the heads with modded MoDel light up MP11 replacement heads. I highly recommend it... they look perfect now. Anyway, good review as always.
TMReviews same I have some issues with mine. My foot broke right off and my waist loosed since I first got him.......don’t wanna deal with it five more times.....I know Takara will do much better with a v3 seeker
I got a couple yes model seekers and this ones my favorite. I got maketoys thundercracker and skywarp for Christmas and I knew I had to have this one. Coneheads are next. Lez Go!
@@TMReviews Takara will only want $300 for a new Starscream if the new Prime is any indication. They're pricing themselves out of the market and 3rd parties are getting it done much better these days.
As someone who has already invested in all of the Takara Seekers, the only way I would actually do a swap out, would be if MakeToys does all of the Seekers: Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp - 👍🏿 Thrust/Dirge/Ramjet - 👍🏿 Now we need the Rainmakers, Sunstorm, and the three Seekers from More Than Meets The Eye part 1 who confronted Wheeljack and Bumblebee after they acquired those energy conductors. And they might as well make figures of the random Seekers we saw in the other More Than Meets The Eye episodes. I'm all in after that. Wallet will be mad, but I'll be happy.
I have all 3 Seekers...Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp and they look great! The cone heads will be out sometime this quarter. I'm just waiting on their release but great figures!
They are making Thrust/Dirge/Ramjet, its all on preorder now on most websites. Sunstorm was a crowdfund that was supposed to be delivered in Dec, but now has been pushed till July according to MakeToys
What a bummer that piece just broke so easily. Great review, now I know I should be very careful when playing moving that part. Regarding the C clip, I would rather have it loose like that, rather than too tight which might break while transforming it.
Must say, you took it like a Champ! Am definitely not as strong as you! When something snaps! I go ...oh! Mannn!! Dang!!! ...nooo!!! ...wow! ..it just broke it!!. ...Gosh! Wow!!! Not gonna lie..stuff like that really does bother me! Definitely a great figure!Great review! ⭐🌟
They did not make the knees right, the head is small as well as the hands. Other than those it is way better than Takara. I just pulled the trigger today on TFsource.com and I can't wait to have it in my sweaty hands. I feel sorry for that hip skirt. Now I know how to handle mine soon.
Really felt sorry when that piece broke, I haaaaaate it when stuff like that happens. Hope Shaun fixes it up good bro! Oh and do check out Jream’s additional pieces on tfw2005, he’s selling some really cool shin pad and engine intake resin pieces that take this fella to the next level. And try putting on MP11’s head on Meteor (with a bit of tissue in it to keep it in place lol). Then he really becomes Starscream! Can’t transform with the mp11 head though 😂
So far the only problem I've had with Meteor is the small corner wing flap it sometimes pops out. Do you think WD40 would be best for the hip skirt so as to loosen it a bit?
welll...goes to show that Collector toys , and especially Transformers , should ALLWAYS be handled with Gentle...Gentle hands. I allways gulp seeing you handle them...fast moves ... plus u have to focus on your cam and on what u say etc... next time , maybe slow the pace or something , idk. not trying to be a troll. just not surprised you broke something... .

Thanks for the tip
I'll do the same to my Meteor.
Did the MoDel head swap right into the maketoys easily?
That sucks it broke. You can see around the 15:00/16:00 where you wedged it in with too much pressure while transforming the legs.
Yup, totally did it myself, it's fixed now tho😀
Takara really needs to announce Starscream V3.0 already.
Agreed

I'm doubting my decision now, not very cost effective

Yup I am getting those from my guy bababobo
@@kidrobotphatfreakz9750 Any word on the rest of the Seekers I mentioned?

True, better to separate than break. Sucks I broke the hip skirt, the plastic is super thin, lesson learned
Awesome review man! Sorry to see you break that piece (did you find a fix for it)?
Not yet, tried super glue and made it worse, sent it to Shaun Diesel to fix
mine will come next week, i hope..
You will love it
I'm not a cartoon accuracy maniac lol.....Idk, I don't mind the stylized MP-11 🤷🏽♂️I heard it was hella floppy tho
It's not floppy per se, more loose in the chest/waist area, doesn't lock together

No more loose torso
Yay

Ya, it was my fault. Good news is Shaun fixed it and painted the faces while he was at it. Good as new.
and that mp 11 starscream is even less accurate to the real life jet than the first mp starscream
Ya, jets don't have robot junk on the bottom and sides lol
Face is too dark on MT Meteor
Yup, getting it painted

Do you think WD40 would be best for the hip skirt so as to loosen it a bit?
No, wd40 is corrosive for plastic.
TMReviews I see, there should be something that would be safe for that.
I hope your Meteor gets repaired.
Use shock oil instead
TMReviews will do
Cool
I have him and he is way better than the MP Seekers I have and poses better than they do as well.
Agreed, problem is getting them for a good price now

No I totally agree, I was being a bit rough, distracted by the camera
Yeah I agree. Just too rough handling the figure like that. Once you hear squeeking... that's a warning! Handle with care.
