Legend has it that when the New York Giants first played the Athletics in the World Series, Giants manager John McGraw joked HERE COMES THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM. Apparently, A's manager Connie Mack took the comment as a slight and decided to throw it back at McGraw by having White Elephant patches stitched on his players' uniform sleeves!❤
The old Angels logo was back when they were owned by Gene Autry and were called the California Angels and the star is supposed to designate where they play in Anaheim
8:13 "PBC" actually stands for *"Pittsburgh* Baseball Club"... and at 11:04, that's really one of the classic logos of all time. Always thought the "Swinging Friar" was kinda cool (and, if I'm not mistaken, the logo was the inspiration for the team's current mascot), even if he does give off those "Chris Berman vibes". And don't forget that logo at 11:40 was from the ASG which stolen from Atlanta because Manfred went political (we'll leave it at that).
That Diamondback logo with the snake is fantastic. "Let's see fellas...should we go with the extremely cool "snake sinking his fangs into a baseball" logo or Jim's idea: a capital "A" with some ridges on one side...?"

And this video you made about Major League Baseball logos really put a big smile on my face. 😃 Do you plan to make any videos about logos from the NHL, NBA or NFL? Ironically, that old Angels logo (the star being the location of Anaheim) would be a much more accurate representation of General Secretary Newsom's Commufornia than the Cali it actually represented.
6:19 You missed two great Browns logos - the Brownie that appeared on jackets and jersey sleeve. And my personal favorite the shield with Louis ix riding a horse on top...lots of symbolism in that one.
You should have showed the old Chief with the hook nose and looks half stone swinging a baseball bat. Used during the thirties and fourties. I don't think it would fly nowdays with our woke society. I have a hat with that logo on it, and wear it to the games. Never a complaint.
I liked that Astros Texas Outline logo, 1 of my favorites I wish they did something similar to it with the current logo.

the Seattle logo was introduced the year they hosted the all star game... that's why the star.
