@@luigihorror6455 this was a dumb comment that I wrote thinking that he has the same birth as his voice actor, but in fact the character has been around since 1939
Gabby was a central Character in Max Fleisher's "Guliver's Travels"(1939), and they did a number of theatrical shorts featuring the characters from that film. They played them a lot, when I was growing up.
I have never understood Gabby's appeal. He had all the bad tendencies of Donald Duck and Woody Woodpecker, yet none of their loveable qualities. He was just a canker sore in celluloid form.
I remember watching an episode where Gabby says, "I'm a baaddd boy!" decades or so ago of its repeat performances. But I can't recall which. Could somebody in the know maybe give me the title? Please? Thank you..
I don't think I know if he said that in an episode. I made a playlist that has all Gabby episodes you can check it out in my channel, maybe you'll find it there since I have all episodes in the playlist.
Edgardo Bier Actually if you search A Day at the Zoo 1939 theres a cartoon where someone says that after getting eaten by a lion. It’s not Gabby though
We watched this cartoon endlessly at my grandparents' house when I was little.
Gabby trying to set up the cot is a lot funnier now than I remember. 😂
@babygiraffe123 same here, Gabby was another of my favorite cartoons to watch besides Looney Tunes
Heeeeeey!!!! that ain't no way to set up a tent!!!!.......MMMMMMMM!!!!!
I just saw 1939 Gulliver's Travels today Blessings and Hugs 💖💕
I actually do remember watching this on VHS when I was super young
I am still learning how to talk when I watched this cartoon. Now It’s time for my children to watch it. Lolz
Childhood cartoons 💕
First Gabby cartoon I ever saw... On a VHS tape back in the early 1990's.
I love cartoons like this! they are cute fun and wholesome!
It was gold. Great Contribution.

R.I.P Gabby

My sister's name is Gabby. My great grandfather gifted this VHS to my sister. We watched it over and over.
Paramount needs to remaster these color classics.
I want to bring Gabby back.
Perhaps I'll give it a try.

Love gabby
This is fun. I don't consciously remember it but the Music, voices and rhythms seem familiar. We had a black and white TV in the day.

@@ToyAlive88That's a reference to Abbot and Costello who were popular comedians at the time

Who will be a good new voice actor for Gabby in 2022?
Weird Al Yankovic?
@@rosapayne5660 hmmm 🤔 maybe
Maybe I can voice him. I've done a solid job as Gabby.
@@inaciosfourthstudio4646 I heard your voice in the 4th of July special and it was spot on.
