Loving your redshift tutorials, especially how you explain why you’re doing something. I’m getting a lot out of the parts when you forget to do a step (maybe this is intentional!) and it doesn’t initially render properly.
There’s a known issue with vram allocation while adobe apps are open, I don’t think it’s fixed properly yet even with the latest nvidia drivers. Messes up redshift - I’ve found the vram issues are totally solved once every adobe app is closed

Ha, it's not intentional, but I appreciate that you thought it was.. that's good to know about the VRAM allocation errors, will make sure to keep all Adobe stuff closed for future Pyro projects.

Hi Jamie! I was following your tutorial and when configuring RS Dome Light , in Object, I only have Preview and general options, I don't have environment nor back-plate. I've tried in versions 2023 and 2024... Do you know what could happen? I've tried millions of thing but nothing works... Without back-plate cannont do anything... :( Thanks a lot!!

I'm reading the online manual and the problem is that I have 3.5.19 version of Redshift, and in 3.5.14+ version backplate has changed to camera settings? what a mess...

RS Camera --> Background -- Override-- In render and load animation in Image .... I think that replace backplate in dome light of previous version of RS

Hi basifernandez, did you solve the issue? You're right, in the latest version of c4d you can find the 'Background' tab under the RS Camera attributes.
