Thinking about getting this tomorrow but looking for cheaper options (it's already on sale but looking for better deals or other watches). Apparently Seikos Japanese movement is so good the Swiss have given up being accurate. It's just prestige luxury and brand for a Rolex now.
Just got the similar sne547 for $291.Much lighter on the wrist than my SNJ037. Perfect everyday watch. Love this new handset and indices. Good overview.
Not a seiko fan at all ,but it looks great and just my size .They overcharge us Brits so will be interesting to see what they sting us for this beauty lol
These are reasonably priced here stateside. Very comfortable to wear, and truly a set and forget watch. Hopefully they don't sting you too bad🙄 Cheers man!!
@@saintdave1877 If it was the old trick where $ price is the same as $ price ,so £290 it would almost be acceptable but they have to be even more greedy and add another £80 ffs .People wonder why I never buy Seiko .
@@Dave062YT firstclasswatches....Cost about 275 pounds with their 5 percent discount code....Then you can offer them how much you are willing to pay as well. I reckon you might be able to bring it down to about 260
Glad to see the bat cave lume shot in rotation👍🏼. I wanted to pull the trigger on the SNE499 PADI, but saw a review on it that thought it felt cheap. What is your thoughts? I think I really want it and hate to 2nd guess it.
They are very lightweight compared to a standard Tuna. The plastic/polymer shroud makes it lighter while still maintaining it's function of protecting the watch. I love my SNE498 because of it classic Seiko looks. Personally, I'm not a fan of the PADI version of the watch though that is absolutely subjective which I try to avoid. Are they worth the price point? Definitely yes in my opinion. My 498 is a keeper in the collection. Cheers buddy!!😎👍👊
I have the 499. I really like the dual lume. The black or grey variants are probably more versatile, but I personally like the colour. I can see why many don’t, but it’s different from my other watches, so I like it. All watches can’t be black 😊
22mm lug opening....
The green strap, the dial colours that compliment it and the square hands make it a keeper for me. Bought mine a few months ago. Still happy.
Nice looking tuna, and really good value watch. That lume is crazy good!
Wow, nice mix style of vintage look and casual look. Very fresh
These are interesting looking watches, just not my style, it’s always great to see something up close. Thanks for the look.
Super comand keep perfect time!! But, if you don't like the style, it's definitely a deal breaker.
So seiko has 3 models with similar design Solar tuna , Solar baby Tuna and Solar street tuna?
Lug to lug is less than the size. Fits even 14cm(about 5,5 inch) wrists well 👍
Is it the exact same size as the 498?
Yes, case dimensions are the same 😎👍😁
Aron Dunlap-OFD Watch Channel thanks 👍
Awesome watch. Bought today delighted with it. My first diver as I have only just started to be interested in watches 👍🏻
Sooo how many watches do ya have now?
@@Mark-sd7fc ah. Great question. 12 😂😂🙈🙈
@@goonerlegend1504 once ya start looking at divers there’s no goin back!
