I just purchased the same model/color today (12 July 19). The matte coloring and lack of any shiny surfaces give the watch a real professional affect. Even though it's overall diameter is a very large 46mm, the relatively small porthole (compared to the watch's overall diameter) makes it seem smaller than it is on wrist. It's relative thinness and light weight makes it a good every day wear piece; perhaps even suitable for office wear. A real wear it and forget it watch.
You picked a great watch Amy! These are definitely my favorite series from Seiko. The Professional ratings, the subdued colors combined with set it and forget it solar quartz!! It's really a no brainer. Enjoy your new watch!!😎👍🙏
Thanks for the excellent review. This fits the bill for a perfect sports and travel watch, good styling and functionality at the right price point. Thanks again.
Definitely! These Solar Tuna watches are very easy on the eyes, wallet and wrist. This one has moved on, but my SNE498 (Solar Golden Tuna) is one of my favorite watches. Thanks for tuning in Mr McMahon 😎👍
i bought this one and when i came home i was inspecting it and saw the ticker stops between the minute lines i see yours in the video is good, i went back to the shop, what they said was '' we can't do nothing about it '' , Brands like Certina, Tissot, Hamilton even Omega have this its not a big problem we cant send it back, what i can do now?
Must stop buying watches. As a watch collector I was a real watch snob about Seiko and the funny but is.... I don't know why. Now this year I have bought five. The latest was this one today. Really like it, though I wish the rubber straps came with a second keeper. Fortunately I had a spare brushed grey one which looks real nice. The other four were the solar PADI Tuna, baby turtle in black and two Turtles, the STO and the PADI. Oh and thanks for the vid!
Were you at one of the Dodger games this weekend? Must be coincidence that I also saw someone post to the Watches subreddit wearing their Timex Q to a game and I was wearing the blue Squale on a Dodger blue rubber strap on Saturday.
Awesome!! I was at last Wednesday game against the Mets. Smoked them in the ninth!! Im working in a lot LA right now, so im trying to get to as many games as i can. Squale on Blue is awesome!! I see so many nice watches at the Dodgers games. I'll be looking for your Squale man!!
Aron Dunlap-OFD Watch Channel That’s awesome. I hadn’t thought of keeping a look out for watches at the games. I will definitely do so in the future though
It is a bit big but it does look really good on the wrist, I just have a hard time spending that kind of money on a 200m quartz watch. Thanks for showing us the watch Aron.
@@OFD Weird. Thanks for that. If you are interested here is the link to the review twobrokewatchsnobs.com/seiko-sne537-review-seiko-prospex-street-series/
Aron Dunlap-OFD Watch Channel : Yes love the flanged buckle. When ever I put on an Ocean Ripple style band on my sne498 or my 777turtle I always put the flanged buckel on the band. With the turtle I add the silver keeper but go with rubber keepers on the solar tuna. The gold keeper just a smig too flashy
Mam taki. Najlepszy zegarek jaki miałem. Noszę go cały czas od miesiąca. Niestety tak jest z każdym nowym zegarkiem. Jak kupię następny Seiko pójdzie do pudełka na mniej niż 10 miesięcy.

Correction, my model was the gray colored one, not green.

Well dang man...this one calls to me like no Seiko in the last year or so. Thanks for sharing! No link? I need one of these for Father’s Day haha
Thanks for watching. Link added in the description!! ;-)
Great watches I have 3 of the street series, should make a footpath series.
Very nice design Aron, and it will go on my list. But not before that watch laying on your desk in the background!😉👍🏼
Watch has bazel insert ?
great review. just picked this watch up!
Hi, that Lume is blue correct?
Is that the most precise second hand ever? Oh, just needed to wait a minute and you pointed it out. Nice.
Like a LASER BEAM!!!!!!!!
Thanks. For this video. Well done.
Really would like a numbered bezel on it, prefer a "Tool" looking watch.
I need to get another Seiko, see if all the hype is real!
Great content Aron! (Need more sketchy bridge crossings too!)

Your hooked for life!! Seikoholics Anonymous 🤣👍 They are just too much fun!!
I own the very same model & it's really very good quality,I'd call it a bargain...Nice overview pal, thanks
Thanks for tuning in my friend!
Bought a grey one it's a great watch
Sweet watch, where did you get the Grey nato I saw over at the Marshall time channel?
Oh man, i wish i remembered. So many NATO straps over the years. Sorry 🤦♂️😁
Haha no worries, you taking the time to respond is awesome, keep it up with the great content 👍
Finally a Seiko I like, does it come in a small can? This version I think is the best one of the series.
Would look good with a new elastic strap.🐡🐡🐡🐡
Finally a Seiko Chris Likes!!! I hear bells ringing!! These series are so comfortable you forget they are there.
I like the modern look. Cool watch👍👍
I like the modern look too! Cheers bro!👍👊😎
what was the watch in the background of the lumeshot?
Phoibos "Great Wall". Discontinued but awesome watch 💯
That’s the best color way in the line 😁great review cuz 👍
Thanks dude!! ;-))

Thanks John!!
first to like and comment :) been on the fence with this watch for a while... i just might get it because of your review :)
AWESOME!!!! Thanks for being first, and thanks for enjoying this review. It's a super cool watch!
Hi Man just wondering, does it have a screwdown crown? The specs says it does but I just read a review that said it did not.
Yes. It absolutely has a screw down crown. It's in the PROSPEX diver lineup 👍😎

OFD! another good review man.
Much thanks!!
Wish the buckle was the same size & quality as the 498 solar tuna. Or does this buckel seem to be a better fit for street series?
No, i agree. I wish it was the same setup as the SNE498 i have. Metal keeper and large flanged buckle feel high quality 😎👍 Great comment!

very nice really like it .... cheers

It looks great on the original strap. Might even look better than a nato.
Going to give it a try. Want to order with matching hardware if I can find the gun metal grey pvd out there?
Must resist temptation....
Remembering package....
$400 bucks....
Resistance is futile................LOL
#teamtuna 🐟🌊💦⌚🥫
Yup!!😎👊🐟
@@OFD 😉👊🏾
is it made in China?
Yes. I believe these say cased in China on the back.

Hi, that Lume is blue correct?
It is a blue lume. They must have bgw'ed their proprietary lume??
