I've got a faux leather Lazy Boy recliner that a friend gifted me with .The chair is great however it happens to be Hunter Green one of my least favorite colors & I was hoping there would be something I could do to change the color otherwise I'd have to either decorate around it & be miserable or throw some sort of covering over it & still not be too enthused about it Since the chair is basically like new it's great to know that I have a solution can't wait to try it out!

It says use non acetone remover,but you then said the acetone helps remove the oils better???? So which is best to use then?

Just Clean and Paint the paint has a primer built into it :)
@@HeirloomTraditionsPaint the reason i ask your advice is because my aunt did exactly that and the paint keeps chippin away in places so she has to keep touching the areas up all the time and thats something i really dont want to be doing as im wanting to go from blood red leathet corner sofa to dove grey.
I need help in working out how to paint a vinyl recliner. I've done vinyl painting successfully in the past, but not something that is soft and 'squishy'. I'm using Fusion Mineral Paint and I'm concerned about the bits that are touching: the sides that touch on to the seat, the head rest, etc. Any ideas? Thx loads for your great tutes.

I purchased two bar stools for a steak. I’ve been searching for. They’re very expensive new. They have leather seats, with nailhead trim and wooden bottoms. The leather top was used by a cat as a scratching post. These are high end stools, I’m hoping I can paint the seats without having to take to a reupholster, or trying to attempt this project myself. With the nailheads the way they are it’s complicated. Any advice on the small holes from the cats claws?

Help pls. I used Manor House for my faux leather couch that its seen better days.i did not like the color so i added another brand paint x 2.

I’m confused because it says non acetone, but when I look up the exact nail polish remover it says it has acetone. So was it a misprint? Or am I just mixing it up somehow?
I think there are two types: with and without acetone.

Is it real suede or micro suede?
Linda, I often paint suede coats. Wash in the machine, I use baby shampoo. Same for spot treating. Drip dry, do not wring or put in the dryer - yet. I use Folk Art acrylic, felt tips, glue and glitter, whatever. I paint designs, flowers. It will dry stiff. I buy end rolls of newspaper, I use an iron to heat set (I have used the Pink Pig on thick paint to bubble for a reptile). I let dry and cure for two weeks. Then, dry towels into the dry for 15 minutes on heat to restore softness. For furniture, clean, paint, use a hair dryer. It dries matte. I do not use any protective stuff. If it is too thick it may crackle, so blot - like makeup.
Why you no show from brown to beige? I have one but I want beige don’t sure because cost a lot of money
