Okay I need some help here. When I put my liquid foundation on and I want to set it with powder, I use the same sponge as the foundation application but when I press it on my skin it looks cakey. Do I need to use the side of the sponge that DOES NOT have foundation on it? Because this way does not work for me. :)
I recommend using a separate sponge for it (that does not have foundation on). Also cleaning your sponges and brushes after every use is something that I highly recommend so that they always perform at their best.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you!!! So, I just don't get how the youtubers I see when they are applying the loose powder with the same sponge they just applied foundation with, and their makeup don't look cakey? And I see them applying the powder on the same side..that's so weird, but thanks so much for replying back to me and I will set my foundation with a diff sponge..:)
@@lindanavai9778 Me neither but most of them have filters on anyway... I always recommend using clean makeup tools for every use when doing makeup. This will give you the best results.
Girl thank you so much! I was looking way too fucking dewy in this heat. I wonder if the powder will cake up if I go outside and start sweating?!! Ugh I hate easily sweating
Well, too much powder can dry out the foundation or BB cream pretty quickly (this can also depend on your skin type) which you don't want to happen since then it can look caked-up and and the foundation can crack. I definitely would recommend not using too much powder and powder in between during the day when it's necessary😊
Just so you know when I searched how to do this. You were the first result on google. Way to go girl!
You gave me the answer I need. Thank you, makeup artist!
Thank you so much for this video!
Super helpful ! Thank you :)
Thank you
Thank you very well explained
Glad it was helpful!🥰
I like your setting powder container. What brand is this setting powder? By the way, thank you for this video.
Thank you! It's a Kryolan Setting Powder😊
Ty for the video, what brand of sponge is that?
I use Beauty Blender Sponges :)
I wonder if it's better to apply with a wet sponge or puff if I have large pores?
Hm...what do you mean? I used a damp sponge in the video but you can also use a powder puff depending on what you have at home😊

Thank you! 💪🏻
You're welcome!
I'm still learning 😆
I hope that the video helped 😜😃
Why don't you do this with a bare face no makeup?
Well, you can also use the powder on bare skin if you want a matte finish😊
