Put the beds beside each other for the loved ones, otherwise the buff isn’t applied. Also should stack maddd traps near the entrances, love the content so far
also if you select to hunt the herbivores when they enter the perimeter, the first turrets near the entrance will shoot them before they start attacking the fence
Priorities: if you set them at most 2, except for healing (that should always be 1 for everyone) so... most important 2, second most important 3, etc. If you set it like that, at ANY point in time you can set a certain job to 1 for everyone, so they'll drop everything except for healing and do it. For example, harvesting. When crops are ready, they should be harvested asap, and over time everyone will get good at it. At least that's how I do it, but I'm a control freak. Of course you'll need to remember where the priority was originally to set it back when the task is over. Or just keep it on 2 for everyone it'll work with construction (see below) because left-to-right is the built in priority. Kinda the same with construction in that I just set it to 2 (most important) for everyone, except the cook. Then control what they do by issuing build commands. (sparsly!!! one at a time!!) so everything I put down gets built immediately(!). If I don't already have the resources, I don't need to put it down. Yet. They'll all get better at it over time, and it's really satisfying when you put down a long wall and it gets done in a blink with all your dudes buzzing back and forth.
you don't really need to put ladders on the platforms for turrets. they climb those even without ladders when constructing/ repairing . unless you really want ladders but sometimes they take too much space..
Love your content especially the double wall concept. But is it better to put the turrets in the middle of the base covering the buffer between 2 walls. So they wont aggro the swarm when they attack. Also the side opening of your base. Can use gate do crowd control the pest n block off during swarm attack? Also to make swarm focus on the main defence kill box area. Love your strategy of defence then farm then crit structure.
I get them to go to a specific entrance by not engaging them until they get there, so I have all my people run over to that entrance and don't have turrets engage until they are at that entrance.
@@TheOnlyL0nzY Doesn't always work though. Sometimes the hungry critters will try to breakthrough to your fruit and veg. Great videos by the way. I am loving them.
maybe if you put the motion sensors in a way that the turrets don't aggro them when they are outside the outer wall, they won't go straight to the turrets?
Way back when you did this episode you asked why the animals came through the outer wall (that had an opening) and did not travel around to the inner wall opening where the turrets were. I looked everything over and I am puzzled as well. Perhaps your walls are just so large that they could not path correctly (could not see the other opening from where they entered). It really does not look that far; but, the only thing I can think of.
@@TheOnlyL0nzY As of the last patch the "stand off" fences need to be at least 10 squares away, or whatever their detection range is.... I think it's 10 squares. If the insects detect someone they will head directly through the fence, otherwise they will path to the opening. But you made this vid before the patch so you probably know that by now.
Yo dude just do what you think of your own gameplay 👍 you are a joy to watch i have watched others and only u and one other is the only ppl that I would watch 👍 but do your smokeleaf lol for the pipe's
I tried to catch up on your prolific recording schedule but failed :(. Things I'd like to see the DEVS adding to the game... 1) Water management, after a non-lethal environment potable water is the next big issue and this game ignore that. 2) Task priority: Set farm areas and construction jobs to have priorities. I know you can force people to go do this or that but a better priority system for your more important tasks would be great. I know the crafting stations have a task order - maybe somewhere in the game have a farming & construction task list and you could order these accordingly.
Hi There and thanks for watching!

you know, that is a great way of doing it!

I realise this. No turrets to aggro them, force them to the entrance
I am just getting into the electronics, kind of dreading trying to figure that out lol. You are doing great.
The tutorial for electrics is really helpful!
I get them to go to a specific entrance by not engaging them until they get there, so I have all my people run over to that entrance and don't have turrets engage until they are at that entrance.
Yea, I learn this as the game goes on. Thanks!

enjoyed it thanks

I know now. Going well so far in Hard Mode ✌️

I have actually finished the series recording wise now. Was a good learning series, ready for the next
Also your second air con is facing the wrong direction.
Thanks!

I agree on the priorities. I want to see an "always do this first" kinda system
Year 2 day 9 I got a walk-in settler on the FOLD-BUY seed. I've got 7 settlers now
That is late on! Good to know
I am using the latest patch if that's made a difference
@@linfizzy good question, don't think I read anything about survivors in the patch notes. They did fix the vents and vomiting isn't as bad lol
Do the turrets need to be raised to shoot over the fence?
Yea, believe so
Bruh, i know it is useless because i watched this after the season already over. But that misplaced aircon is killing me...
Sorry haha. Lesson learned
