On the Etsy topic, I've also heard from creators selling or or even offering free patterns have been dealing with foreign companies selling their stuff as their own. Etsy does not make it possible for the original creator to fight it. And for the marketing/advertising side potentially manipulating the search results, even companies like McDonalds are apparently doing things like only showing the most expensive menu items first...really unfortunate how we get railroaded into our choices sometimes. I think you guys are spot on with Hasbro trying to re take the dart market! I'm curious to see if it works out for them, i think hobbyists might not bother unless they are a great upgrade. But ive seen a lot of moms gearing towards xshot recently, so im curious if this will work out for them since they have more competition in general even in the family space
Great episode, great guest (though I am a bit biased hehe). 300 FPS off the shelf brings this hobby closer to Airsoft. Sure I get some pro/comp games have higher FPS though if ai wanted to play a game where I get welts and bruises ill go paint ball or airsoft. I blast foam as I feel it is more fun versus military simulation. So it has it's place but pretty narrow in my opinion.
No more elite darts? What are we going to laugh with then??? What are we going to give newbies to make them feel silly for missing an elephant? It will be the end of nerf! Doom!
