You can make fabric straps or use ribbon or I like Paracord. Even cotton rope works well

A bias tape maker from Amazon is very easy to use. I use the 2” bias maker to make the cord. I only sew down one side. I’m making lined drawstring backpacks for my local charity program. Nice tutorial.

It's best not to use a directional print for these bags. If you use a print it should be a random type pattern, otherwise your little characters or flowers will be upside down if that side of the bag is facing away from the body.

Or use 2 Fat Quarters of the same pattern and seam it at the bottom to make 1 piece of fabric.

Grelt tutorial 💖 Can I ask : the 40 inches … is that in total. It confuses me you show 40 niches and the open up the fabric. If it is double the bag will be quilte large 🤔🤔 when I convert to centimeter it will 100 cm each side😊😊
