You shouldn't use 220ohm pull-down resistor. according to the ratio of 100ohm and 220ohm resistor divider you are pushing around 7-8volt to the gate with less gate current.. which will decrease charging of the gate capacitor.. and also this will increase the voltage drop between drain and source path according to the 3205 datasheet.. then with bigger load your mosfet will act like a resistor.. and it will heat up a lot and waste energy... :)
