I love the tone of Josh's voice and love his phrasing. He manages to beautifully capture the anguish of this gorgeous song.

This guy is wonderful. Presence and looks on top of a great voice. Find him a show, a good show. Hard to do today on a broadway of children’s theater and Branson type revues. Can’t find shows I want to see anymore.

This is actually a half a step down from the original key of Db.
QuintenHopkins original key I believe is in Bb. On their website, the recording they have is in Bb. A lot of these guys do it up a step or so because of the low F in the beginning of the piece in the original key

+Pyfacefornever Wait no it starts in C major then has that semitone shift up when he says "I can't run" and the orchestra drops right down - sorry :-S So to summarise, starts in C major, finishes in D flat ;-)

Why? this josh has so much more voice and dramatic feeling!
Unnecessary conductor. A group that small could have easily been without one. The pianist could have conducted with his head. And it was distracting.
I love that Brian's in the video. Feel free to produce your own musical theatre concerts.
@@ProfessorBroadway Are you still performing? I really hope you are. Someone told me that you had turned to teaching instead. If that's true, I hope you can find a way to do both once the theaters open up again. It would be a shame to deprive the theater world of your talent.
