Very useful tricks, I am just starting to mix things through this plugin. By the way, would you have any advice on using it on a studio snare to make it sound more "professional hard rock - heavy metal" sounding? I know my mics didn´t pick the sound the right way but I feel there is something I could do.
Thanks for watching 👌 Typically people use samples when aiming for a more produced, metal sound. You can check out my video on how to do this in Cubase, as well as where to pick up my hard hitting, heavy rock snare pack here: ua-cam.com/video/bU8LgbJndKM/v-deo.html
Yeah kinda, except with a bit more control. Transient shapers generally just have attack and sustain controls; the envelope shaper will have full ADSR control.
Big Cubase user here. I love their built-in tools. Pretty awesome stuff. Great demo of the use-case for envelope shaping!
Thanks for checking it out!
Yeh recently discovered this it's so dope! If it had mid side processing it would actually be goated
Oh man, now that would be AMAZING!
This video is a life-saver for me :) Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching 😃 I’m glad you found it useful.
I found this plugin a few months ago and use it on every session 4 the punch & tightness ✌
It’s a great tool; I love it on drums and vocals. Thanks for watching!
DS-10 style .. thanks for the video

nice video thanks . can u use it on other DAW ?
I’m not aware of any other DAW that has one in as stock, but I could be wrong. Plugins like Kiloheartz Multipass would allow you to do it though.
How does 1 get the envelope shaper? Is it existing in cubase?
It should be right there in the plugin menu if you’re on Cubase Pro🙂
So its basically a transient shaper??????
