Du.ping used cat litter down holes works great. They hate the smell of urine from any predator. Cayenne pepper down the hole and a leaf blower to circulate also works well.

I have tried many different repellents and the main reason they are ineffective is they don't eliminate the problem. The problem just tends to migrate to other areas. I think these "solutions" may be intended for a single gopher in a small yard but all the may do is send the gopher into your neighbors yard. I have tried many such repellents and I have not had any measurable success. The most effective way to deal with gophers is elimination. I do appreciate the suggestions thought. Very destructive to tree roots for sure. I target them very aggressively whenever they get close to the gardens or orchard. Thanks for watching:)
