I do love Zeus being mischievous and enjoying that cloud a little too much, but this version where he's just doing his job is also pretty good too. He sat out most of the saga as well, so him going down here is essentially him saying "I tried to stay out of it. My brother Poseidon, non stop calls about this. I ignored them. But the sun God... Nah can't lose that."

For those wondering in the Homeric Lore Ody is *fated* to make it home, at most the gods can delay when that happens but it *will* happen.

Like with your "Just a man" animatic, you did the contrast shots really well. And Eurylochus trying to reach out to a crying Odysseus before being struck down by Zeus makes the scene even sadder. Well done!
Dude the parallels had me impressed, but- i dont know if this was purposeful or not bc no one mentioned it- when the vision of real penelope dissapears at 0:47 and it reveals eurylochus... makes the choice feel so real and painful my jaw dropped at that part

Although I love Zeus´ part in the end I must admit that I was a fan of cutting it off after the "I know", it ends more silent and calm this way but I feel like it works to keep the focus on Ody instead of shifting back to Zeus
Dude, you only did about a minute and a half of the song but this just became one of my favorite Thunder Bringer animatics. The siren and the baby and then Penelope in front of the crew.
I've always thought that the Penelope part was just him trying to remember his true purpose that was coming back with her and Telemachus to make the decision of sacrifing the rest of his men a little softer and easier... but this was a smart and even more painful take (and obviously we are all here to suffer :p) showing from the sirens, to the kid and now all his crew, all the lifes he had to take, willinglly or not, sinking and suffocating his soul by the weight of his guilt
I love this interpretation, this is also why I showed the siren and the kid in the flashbacks, because these are two lifes he actively took, hinting at his decision of Ody sacrificing his crew. This whole saga and especially this song hit so hard
Siren Penelope using the last of her strength against Odysseus is so good! I love your Zeus design and how inhuman he is if you know what I mean, it’s more terrifying in a way
What I like about this is when the part where penelope sing, it actually shows Odysseus cause of suffering. I think it makes the most sense cause originally, Penelope didn't sing that part, it was the siren.
