I emailed the USMC Drumline back in 1994 asking if they could share the cadence and I got a pretty solid NO response that they didn't want it distributed. (Not that it is hard to crack) but it's nice to finally see some of the finer details on paper. 26 years later, EMC delivers.

    Quick percussion story!
When in 7th grade, I was in my school's top band (there were four total). All bands we're practicing heavily for our state competition, and the Concert band (2nd lowest) percussion section had been taking most of the percussion stuff to another room to practice one on one with the band director while the rest of the bands practiced in the main room. One of the percussionists had, while taking the concert bass back to the main room, confused the knob that tilted the drum with the knob that separated the two bars that were keeping it suspended. That day in class, we had decided to practice the sight reading portion for our competition, and, in the middle of the song we were sightreading, the bass drum that I was playing fell OFF THE STAND AND ONTO THE FLOOR. I had to stand there, clutching the bass mallet in fear, until sightreading was over and I could alert the band director (which she didn't notice until it had started making weird noises while she was talking (it was hitting the bars while I was attempting to put it back). The rest of the percussion section laughed at the incident for the rest of the year.
It was hilarious and horrible at the same time.

Lol, my friend was in 8th grade last year(I Was in 7th grade) and we were practice marching outside during elective with the whole band, well there was this area where we would turn and the sidewalk step would get in the way. Well my friend had a base (Base 4 The big one) and he had to squeeze between the base next to him and the sidewalk so he would trip, she ended up tripping and he flew in the bushes that were grown into the fence, he went head first and the base had made him like roll into them because of the circle shape. Everyone laughed and colorguard had helped him. I laughed my ass off

Hey everyone scrolling through the comments, I just learned snare troop C and he acted like it was really difficult, it's definitely not for beginners, but if you take your time and practice at a slow tempo (like he said about 80) I think most high school seniors and some really motivated juniors should be able to get it down. Please don't let yourself get scared away from it, just check it out.
For context, I marched 2 indoor and 2 outdoor shows in the Dutch equivalent of open class and it was not that difficult for me, so if you are at a similar level, please try it, it's really a lot of fun
