Hey eric, just a video idea, use one of the cadences entered, and then do an entire walk through of how you make these, for example, which drum you start with, which equipment you use, how you split screen, all that jazz

EMC is effectively giving us all deadlines so we can actually finish our unfinished musical projects, because we woulda never finished them otherwise. Doin the lords work lol
You dont get enough credit that honestly was the most impressive thing I have seen in a very long time. You are a true master of your craft and I absolutely enjoyed watching.
Well it's a shame I didn't get in there, but deservingly! Those cadences were amazing! I was 100% sure Daniel was making it in, his cadences are my absolute favorite!
I’m not sure your listeners know what a cadence is supposed to be.... the thought of marching to any of these seems ridiculous. But then again, I am an old fart now.
When I saw nighthawk originally I knew it was getting in there, that shit slapped. I knew mine wasn’t gonna make it cause I wrote a flub part, it didn’t say write a flub part but... it didn’t say not to, gotta give the flubs some love. I also explicitly made sure to notate that the flub part could be substituted for pit on bongos/timpani and agogo bells, you know, things most bands have, just so lit doesn’t feel so left out
I wrote my own a while back and just recently added it to my MuseScore to give my schools drumline copies. It’s not hard to play but pretty groovy. It’s called One more time if anyone wants to check it out. If you can’t find it, my name is elijahneiman31
I don't get it... for Super Summer Bois, uh... are there meant to be marching steel drums and a marching piano? Not that those things are impossible, of course, but it doesn't particularly jive with my own feeling for what a "cadence" in particular, should be. Jiggy Jiggy is my favorite so far by a huge margin. Of the first three, it's the only one I could really imagine myself marching to. I liked parts of Nighthawk, but there were also places where it became kind of difficult to keep track of the 1. If that's the case even with you playing basically flawless-clean with yourself, on camera, with perfectly synced audio, then imagine marching in a parade with a 200+ member marching band where some band members are far enough from the drums that sound delay and echoes off of buildings can start to get confusing.
To anyone that is interested, here is the sheet music for the Wii Channel Theme cadence drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cEM_lomfbmPXiBF8I6hJyDuOq7nYQ-uQ
JojnOkirk I figured it was something like that. I’m guessing that both UD and UConn are influenced by the Cadets since the guy who wrote the UConn cadence marched cadets and UD is in the vicinity. (Fun fact, Bergen County is the midpoint between UD and UConn)
Kazi Iqbal oh that’s right! i forgot to mention the guy who writes all our battery music marched cadets and went to UD plus almost all our pit techs marched cadets so yeah good ear! you were dead on!
I only marched bass half a season, and there were no splits. But from reading and trying to write music, i have a few tips. 1. Learn To play your bass music without the other basses 2. Don't rely on the other basses too much , mostly think about your part to avoid mistakes. 3. Learn All the bass parts, get familiar with what the other basses are playing and when, so if you need to rely on them at some point you have a point of reference. March on!
Zach, if you can, use a highlighter on just your part in the music. The others have it right: learn YOUR part, by count. If the whole bassline does that, cleaning will come easy and y'all will sound great!
Do a lot of back and upper body work outs and stretches especially if you’re using a harness (I used a harness in middle school and a strap in high school) and work on counting ALOT
The second cadence Was probably the most sorted and inclusive, ngl it slapped and the most underappreciated part of the drumline (Basses and cymbals) had a bomb part to play the backdrop.
Okay, if I were still in high school, I bet you that our school would have used that Wii Shop Theme for our marching cadence. Homecoming parade, and ESPEICALLY the big parade we did, I can only imagine us playing that followed by our usual song. I know, because for two, maybe three years, not sure, we played the Dr. Mario Chill theme as our marching cadence, it was awesome.
Links to the 5 featured cadences with FREE SHEET MUSIC are in the description
Honestly you’re so underrated. You are one of the best percussionists that I’ve ever seen.

That might be why, but who really knows?
LMAO
Maybe
What the hell?!? You totally should’ve made it in, that’s bullshit.
Honestly I didn't ever hear about this, so I didn't get to submit :(
Finally a jig 2 I won't get annoyed to hear every tenor player play
Jig 3?
GamingWithFun15 no
GamingWithFun15 no
GamingWithFun15 yes
i thought i was the only one who hated when the tenor players over played it
I have a feeling for the masked guy face reveal that there’s gonna be another mask underneath the mask. 🤣🤣
Don't give him any ideas!!!
Might be too late, he could've read that as I'm speaking.
It’s gonna be cake
Max Williams Ahahaha
THANK YOU FOR PLAYING MY CADENCE!!!!!
Jig 2 is BAE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
agreed, so groovy for some reason, w cadence
I always forget that this dude is a US Marine
Thank you Eric! The part that killed me was the cut to the 4 mallet tenor part 😂
I mean...I couldn't NOT show that part.
Thank you for playing my cadence! :D #wiichanneltheme

@@jakethomas3450 thanks dude, shout out to alan for making the higher one
All are fantastic! I'm a high brass player so I only get to enjoy the beats.... I would definitely love to enter the stadium to Nighthawk!
Respect for Eric, for sorting through all of those. Must have taken a long time.
EMC is effectively giving us all deadlines so we can actually finish our unfinished musical projects, because we woulda never finished them otherwise.
Doin the lords work lol
Which cadence was your favorite?
EMCproductions love your videos man keep up the great content

Thank you so much for featuring my cadence!
You dont get enough credit that honestly was the most impressive thing I have seen in a very long time. You are a true master of your craft and I absolutely enjoyed watching.
4:24 I’m happy Kyle the cadets cadence made it in the video
The amount of editing that must have gone into this video is unreal
Well it's a shame I didn't get in there, but deservingly! Those cadences were amazing! I was 100% sure Daniel was making it in, his cadences are my absolute favorite!
Honestly my favorites were the first 3 just for their sound, mood, and tenor features
Was going to like then saw 69 likes
So tempted to lift something from zappa’s “black page” and arrange it into a cadence 😂
Jiggy Jiggy was my favorite
IMO, Jiggy Jiggy is the best one on here
Jiggy Jiggy is so frickin cool!!!
No video, and I mean, NO VIDEO is complete without the kylethecadet segment.
HI (sorry for bad grammar)
Wait, are all those people your twins, or... your clones.
this is amazing , i can't imagine how long this took to make
Aw man I wish I knew about this !
Can we do another one of these. I've got some i think would make the cut.
Dang, I totally would’ve written one! 💔 Sweet beats!!! 👌🏼
your sooo talented!!
Yes Daniels cadences are so good
The days of a laid back groove cadence is over....
"Wii channel theme". Bruh
It's my first time seeing EMC using full stick tape...
edit: on the snare
Super summer bois banjo and kazooie?
Epic Cadences! Great job, everyone!
Didn't make it in myself but congrats to those who did
They were all good, but Super Summer Bois was legit
The “Wii theme song” was good, but I thought that the snares were a little over powering.
I’m not sure your listeners know what a cadence is supposed to be.... the thought of marching to any of these seems ridiculous. But then again, I am an old fart now.
May I ask what you mean by that? The only one that seems hard to march to was the one that was at 168
Noah Gorman Music I assume he means that lots of cadences being written these days are based on backbeats or some sort of street beat
I liked the video purely bc how great the “Wii Channel Theme” was (the rest of the video and production quality was also brilliant)
Thank you for playing the sticks in on the 2nd partial of the quintuplet
Super summer bois
Is fire
i like the first one
Super summer bois sounds so good!
Only tru fans dislike 😌
Congrats to the composers of the selected cadences!

Joshua Thomas Search up Jiggy Jiggy Drumline Cadence

I have been waiting!!!! Then ... all of a sudden!!! Oh! Oh! Oh!!!! So glad for your latest video!😍😍
You can really tell that his least favorite part of making this video was having to play the cymbals😂
I have died from the shear awesomeness alone

Almost at 100k subs!
The first one sounds like a mix between the UConn and UD cadences and I love it for that reason
lol the guy who wrote it is one of my best friends and like 75% of our drumline techs and instructors went to/are going to UD
JojnOkirk I figured it was something like that. I’m guessing that both UD and UConn are influenced by the Cadets since the guy who wrote the UConn cadence marched cadets and UD is in the vicinity. (Fun fact, Bergen County is the midpoint between UD and UConn)

I want to see you try "Jig 2" from Oak Mountain Marching band.
I liked Super Summer Bois and Nighthawk
Did you speed up jiggy jiggy after you recorded it?
Hey Eric, I'm a freshman, playing Bass 4. I'm sure I'm not the only one who could use some help and or tips going into this marching season.
I only marched bass half a season, and there were no splits. But from reading and trying to write music, i have a few tips.

you look clinically depressed whenever you play.
I challenge you to play the blue devils metamorph
Hi
You should do a top 10 for the next part bro.
I like the timbale effect on the tenors with super summer bois
This is just so satisfying
Was it just me or the the bass drums harder to hear in this one?
The discord server just hit 600 members, nice!
Is it just me or does the left tenor look like he wants to choke the floor
Am I the first comment?
Luckily I’m working on an I&E type solo on quads, still not finished though. But the thing is I also want to incorporate guitar into it
T shirt please
The second cadence Was probably the most sorted and inclusive, ngl it slapped and the most underappreciated part of the drumline (Basses and cymbals) had a bomb part to play the backdrop.
Under appreciated until literally there aren’t enough people in the drumline to play cymbals lol
It is a felony that 100% all real beef isn't on here
First
online i&e is a large bruh moment
Thank you for this video, very good
Oh id love to write a cadence to troll him :D
Nice steel drum stuff in super summer bois
Amazing videos
i got an ad that emc made before this vid
When you get to 100k subs can you react to Blue devils 2019?
