My 450 er drains battery in a matter of seconds don't know if its stator or regulator has a weak spark all connections are good any one have any solutions feel free to comment
Have you had any luck getting it to fire? I have a 06 450 er...i was out riding and let it sit for 20 min then i went to start and it cranked and cranked but no start. I tried pull starting it and still nothing. Im going to get into it this weekend on my day off and try to troubleshoot...ill keep you posted
Ok cool and nah just found out my stator rubbing up against flywheel seen lil shavings around stator and my valves was way out of spec going to go get new shims tomorrow to get my valves up to clearence and then gonna check everything else is ok so ill see after I get shims installed and keep you posted as well
I have an interesting issue. 06 trx450ex.. Lost spark.. replaced the cdi box I have spark now BUT it will only spark once per cycle. Stop try again one spark etc.. Replaced the stator made no difference.. Could the ignition coil?
Could be it depends see If u can get multimeter n check n see if u are getting a reading that will let u know forgot how much it supposed to read but Google will let u know how much it suppose to read
@@kelseymoe2259 so my issues was the cab switch.. it was bad and preventing the bike from starting. Have you checked for good spark? If spark is good bypass the carb switch with jumpers and see if it starts..
Nah still tryin to figure it out took it to shop to get it fixed n they just charged for non didn't do anything 500 n it still not running im gonna go hard n fix this week
@@kelseymoe2259 Did you replace the valves? Those hondas, if they have a dirty air filter, the valves go bad quickly. They’re very hard to start if they’re not in spec
Thats why I put in shop i wasn't doing valves right apparently and I had them clean and adjust carb they charged me 500 for that n valves n it still not working
I'm almost done with my garage so ill be able to fix now that I have space just put in shop thought they could fix while I'm getting my shed n garage in order but they just charged me 500 for non
It turns over acts like it want to start but it won't fire I'm going to check n see did they adjust valves if I have old shims they aint do non just charged me 500 for bs
