To give you an idea of what a legit Chinese eats on a regular day, let's whip up a simple Chinese dinner meal, which includes two recipes. The Sichuan Peppercorn Chicken is poached to the perfect doneness and then mixed with a mouth-watering sauce. We will turn the chicken cooking broth into a steaming, hearty shanghai-style noodle soup. Both recipes are quick, easy, budget-friendly, and enough to feed a family of 3. If you want to see more of these quick, budget-friendly meals, let me know in the comments.

I would love to see more of the dinner-videos, where you use a few ingredients to make two or three parts of an authentic meal. Thank you!

Mandy, i bought your wok. I am going to tell you what i did with it that made me to post this so anybody who has doubt will not hesitate again to buy it. I fried a box of plantain with it for hours( like 4 and half hours). Oil splashed everywhere on the body and there was built up of burnt oil on the bottom. I used induction stove. When i finished, i was ready to condemn the woke because i do not know how to wash the stains off without the coating coming off. I have an iron sponge so I scrubbed the hell out of the woke within minutes. You know what surprised me, the woke just looked exactly like new. The coating didn't come off. I had to call my husband to come and see what I am seeing. i mean, I have used loads of woks, some very expensive but non prepared me for this.

Please do make full meals. I’ve been following you so long. I am hoping someday you write a cookbook. Being non Asian I really appreciate when the cooks tell you what type of dishes go together. Hot Thai kitchen went to a restaurant and presented how Thai people combine their dishes. Very interesting. 😊

This sounds like a wonderful meal.. I love seeing a "full meal" fixed, especially since this seems pretty basic without 52 ingredients and 40 different steps! I have loved every recipe of yours that I have tried, including the moon cakes for the festival. My friend from Korea loved them, too!

  • @donalyncraig4071

I love your cooking! Every time I cook one or your recipes they come out delicious and everyone loves them. Thank you so much!
