You are a very beautiful man, and your makeup is always flawless, no matter what brand you wear. Whenever I want to relax and watch a very experienced MUA, I start binging your videos to learn honest, and expert reviews and just listen to your calm, soothing voice. I’m starting to wear makeup again to look better with mature skin, and techniques and makeup have come a long way past previously known brands. Avon, Revlon, Maybeline, are all better formulated, and up to date to this generation. There’s also more comparable brands being sold that are equal, or better that dupes the really expensive ones, and saves you money. I’ve discovered LA Colors, NYX, ELF, and some others that works very well with my skin tone (fair warm, light = redhead Scottish-Irish) but I’m relearning how to apply it well from your lessons. Thank you so much for your videos, and makeup recommendations! ❤❤
It’s good to hear you talk about still having expectations for cheap products...if you’re running a business there’s no excuse for damaged goods and bad packaging! Like you said, people work hard for their money, and this could be their only splurge!

There is literally no way to avoid it and something being expensive does not mean it’s ethically made. Yes! Elf has fast shipping and great packaging. Better than some high end. Once I ordered a cream bronzer from Fenty and it was almost in a dry wall type envelope and it looked like a mouse tore dry wall fuzzies all over my car 😏
Shitty brand aside, I always commend you as well as James that you mention that affordability is relative because as you said, even affordable makeup (or skincare) can be one of two things some people are able to buy in a month. Even something cheap turning out broken or being shit for some people can mean wasted money that could be put in something more significant, and all they wanted is to treat themselves.
Agreed, I’m relatively young so I barely earn any money, less than £25 a month usually. I once tried to buy a liquid contour and it exploded in the packaging :(
Not me being years late, but I just have to say-- Although I dislike Shein, I really appreciate you being realistic and non-judgemental about the fact that some people can't afford more expensive makeup. If SheGlam is what is within someone's budget, they should not be made to feel bad about it.

Ok, Robert I just opened my box from Shein. I must say, they took your advice. My palate was packed inside of styrofoam. It was inside of a box filled with soft items, but it looks like if it were an order of just makeup, the styrofoam is standard. Well, the foundation is amazing. I am shocked at the color match, and the formula. I have purchased the lippies and eye pencils before, but never went into any real makeup. Your video had me interested in going for more. When you continued to say "I'm confused", I now understand why. I have purchased the same item from other brands and spent a lot more. I am impressed. Thanks for the review.

I got mascara from that brand and I’m pretty sure it was the reason for the styes I got... Also with their manufacturing, if I had known about the lack of labor pay and regulations, I would have never gotten makeup from there. The package sent to me was really dirty and had a hole too!!
I think Sheglam definitely watched your video. I discovered and ordered from them a few months back and they packaged and shipped everything out like it was medical samples. They discontinued the cigarette plastic wrap for card-based boxes, shipped everything in an sturdy black box, and all my palettes came encased in custom fitted styrofoam blocks for each palette to ensure quality control of the eye shadows and to add additional padding for other smaller products inside during transit. The only downfall I've noticed personally is that some of their shadows seem to have just a little bit of fallout, but the pigments are full coverage and you get so much product for way you pay for. Super amazing brand if you have kids or younger siblings that are just getting into makeup! My kid sister steals my palettes all the time lol

I agree about shipping in the bag! Also, I was looking on their site and saw in checkout that it says you can add $0.99 shipping insurance or something it was called. I looked to see what that was, and it says if something is lost in shipment or broken and you pay that $0.99, then they’ll replace it. Shipping it like that they should replace it whether someone pays the $0.99 or not I think

Thank you so much talking about cheaper products and still having some expectations. I lived my life just trying to not be seen and at 48 I just started getting into makeup and went stupid and ordered close to $700 in products. In my spending I ordered some drug store products. One being an eyeshadow palette that arrived in an envelope. No padding. Each shadow smashed to oblivion. In my excitement I sat down on my bed and opened the envelope and was immediately covered in eyeshadow dust. All over my quilt and my dress clothes. All I could think was this was karma's way of telling me I had bought enough products. Side note...I was so happy to actually get a notification that you posted a new video! You and your brother have helped me so much!!!

I have two eyeshadow palettes, & I will say that I think they definitely need a good primer under them, but was very pleasantly surprised. We’re obviously different skin tones, but I think with the right primer they’d be good. And the 9 pan palettes are only $6, so it’s not a huge commitment.
I am always worried that because they are cheap they will have really bad chemicals in them that are bad for your face. I saw a program were they tested knock off make up and some had asbestos etc in them so that’s what I’d be most worried about

Omg I had the same reaction! I have issues with fast fashion like SHEIN and exploitation etc but I gamble on their clothing a lot bc I’m a bigger girl and it gets expensive to find clothes for myself, so I was trying to get free shipping and bought some eye shadow and I was IMPRESSED!! I don’t really like their glittery shadows bc I find that they are weird textures and like doesn’t look right on my eye lid but regular matte ones were great I found.
Robert, please consider doing another updated video on Sheglam with more products. I would love to see what your thoughts are on the liquid sculpting contour and bronzers and the liquid blush! I have repurchased both of those items a ridiculous amount of times because they're so good! They also have a bunch of new things on there that I think you would love. I saw a couple pullover sweaters I liked on Shein when my granddaughter was ordering from them. I honestly couldn't believe the quality of the sweaters I received. I was completely surprised. Seeing you try their makeup lines, I'll give them a go. Thank you Robert.
That “compacting” of The pigment occures especially in finely milled pigment, when oil gets into contact with it. It can especially happen if you use artificial bristled brushes as they cannot absorb oils/moisture. It can completely ruin a product.
The plus size clothes I have purchased are beautiful quality. Some velvet dresses from them are some of my favorites. And I love the models are actually plus sized. I've also purchased some makeup have not been dissatisfied.
I just received my order from Sheglam yesterday and i used the foundation today and i like it very much! I also have 6 eye shadow pallets and the diamond sponge is really nice to use.
I haven't purchased a lot of make up products from SheGlam, but they have one of the few contour shades that looks just right on super pale skin that is actually a grey brown shade and I absolutely adore that item. It's their Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour in the shade "Soft Tan."

Hi there:) may I recommend the following palettes for cool toned (I am too!) they get more expensive as they go along. - makeup revolution forever flawless palette. - colourpop Baroque palette also Stone Cold Fox by them. - smash box cover shot in punked. - Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette - Natasha Denona Glam palette. - Scott Barnes - Glamazon palette.
The thing about the price is that because the manufacturers and labs are in China (Home country of Shein) it costs them way less than western brands producing making makeup with the same labs and manufacturers so these palettes would be 10 to 12 dollars in the US instead of 5 dollars. People often forget that China still produces many makeup for other brands. They have the knowledge and the ressources but I would say be aware of the ingredients. BUT please reconsider buying from shein because they are very unethical..
@@chickpea Wasn't the animal testing requirement only for foreign made brands that wanted to be sold in China? And even that got scrapped this year. Not saying Shein is a good company to buy from, but it is possible they don't actually test on animals (have no idea of their actual status given how horrible they are otherwise).

I agree with their packages. they do the same with their clothes. But I will say that their customer service is phenomenal. One of the packages I ordered was opened. I was missing like 7 items and they replaced the ones that I didn't get and refunded things too. They didn't ask questions or make it seem like I was lying, trying to get free product, etc. It was great and it was a huge relief with my anxiety lol. We even called usps before talking to shein to see if the missing items were in the truck.

I swear by their eyeshadow pallettes! I’ve never spent much money on eyeshadow so I’m only used to drugstore but they are by far some of my favourite eyeshadows ever. I’ve just placed an order for this foundation, I really like the eyebrow pencil too! I have one of their lipsticks too that has the coolest packaging where you press a button and it pops out to open it x

I think the plastic wrap it's because China has a lot of issues with second handed products that are sell abroad, so they just want to make sure you know you are receiving a brand new product, at least that's what I think, 🤷♀️
Shein is an absolutely terrible company.. participating in horrendous labor practices (think forced labor) and working conditions. I don't think this is common knowledge, but I have seen more people discovering this about them. I just had to put this out there to reach people that didn't know.
It’s actually quite obvious. If you’re selling items that are so cheap, not only you’re involved in these practices but you’re also harming customers by using the cheapest and nastiest ingredients. I would not want to put that on my skin.
My teen daughter likes them so I always ordered for her but their service lately has been bad. I’m gonna look more into this company and their practices.
I wouldnt trust anything from shein that wasnt run through laboratory tests. Foreign customer laws usually are very weak in China. It s best to buy from big european or American companies even if they produce in China. If there is mercury in their stuff they get sued but if you have the same issue with a seller from China noone cares. And remember mercury stays in your body.
At the end of the day, shein and a majority of other brands all participate in horrendous labor practices, it’s everywhere. Only thing is this place keeps it cheap whereas everywhere else hikes the prices up so🙇🏻♀️ shop at opshops or markets where you know it’s sustainable !
I just bought a swimsuit from SHEIN and my friend is the one that introduced me. She showed me her swimsuit and it was cute and nice quality! I really wanted to know if the makeup was worth it too. Great to know it’s really good quality for being so affordable! 💜
If you can afford a cart full of shein I think it's better to spend that money on something better for yourself 💗 Safer for you, your skin, the environment and you're not contributing to a fast fashion brand that has TERRIBLE working conditions
I was one of the people who asked for the Sheglam review, because I tried one lipstick + liner and the brow pencil and loved both. So thx for doing this! As for your confusion regarding packaging & texture/quality: Shein says they use the same producers as way more expensive brands but for a fraction of the money. From what I've tried I agree with them (mine came in a box, but I'd also ordered a jacket). Am very interested in the rest of their stuff. Hopefully you can try any other products (they have a lot) some time later. Edit: now reading some comments that apparently they're very unethical, slave labor and all that. Going to check. I have barely budget for make-up (the bit of extras I have - also limited- often go to drugstore or Deciem skin&hair care because I have difficult, extremely sensitive skin and a hair disease), so finding good and ethical brands in my budget isn't easy.
Nice to see someone else likes Shein stuff. Seeing and many other brands use the same suppliers it's like buying from a supermarket alot of the times the suppliers are the same they just put a different name on it. As a curvy girl I adore Shein and it's nice to find affordable stylish clothes in my size
@@rosettasilvermist Very true! Actually, even in an actual supermarket 50% of products is the same, just their outside differs. As for Shein: their plussize range has definitely improved! Unlike other stores that think that curvy girls should wear big saggy tents, Shein creates - and works with designers that create - sexy and elegant outfits that enhance a woman's shape. Not make her look dowdy and square. I am a tad overweight now due to illness, but not considered plussize yet, and often look in that section for bikinis (even in my size 34 I was well endowed) and when I do reviews. Whenever I buy sth for a challenge (my own, like Full Outfits under $20) on Instagram, I want to know there is a variety or the same item in the plussize section, so that it is a more inclusive look. That's why I know. Actually: the plussize section often has much cuter dresses 😅. I dress retro (50s with a touch of 40s) because I love the style of course, but I've also noticed that when I gained 20kg (45lbs) my retro brand clothes still looked great on me, some even better than before. So I look into Shein's vintage section too. Dressing 50s isn't cheap (I buy mostly 2nd hand, but that's fine with me. Plenty people wear an item only once), so it's great when you have a store that helps with a tiny budget. Though I'm still worried about the ethics part.

I just ordered clothes for the first time from shein. I'm a plus size American, living in Asia, and it tends to be hard for me to find clothes that aren't old style fat people clothes.. it was convenient, but I have heard stories, so I was cautious and only bought a couple items, I've been pleasantly surprised myself by the clothes I got. I got 2 pairs of longer length high rise shorts and 2 tops.
Their packaging is that bad with clothing orders as well. I’ve hesitated buying anything else from shein because the last two orders I received had holes as well that were big enough to make me freak out hoping my things were there. Soo I did a a big Sheglam order a while back and I’m actually loving everything I got 😬. The makeup was a tough match but I found a good one finally as I got tan for the summer. Is it not the softest and prettiest coverage??!! I got the little sample packs of several first. Then I ordered a few bottles just for the heck of it. The brow pencil I got is lovely for me. I just do basic shading. The liquid eyeliner pen is my absolutely favorite. I get my best wings with it! Got a couple lip glosses that are nice. And all the eyeshadow pallets I bought were perfect. I’m personally very impressed. But I definitely understand the concerns with the packaging. Mine were actually wrapped in padding so it was a pain to get in to, but I thought it was nice because they were traveling overseas lol.
I have quite a few sheglam products, and they are all very nice. The lipsticks in the black packaging have a magnetic closure, and I love the liquid blushes.

I recently tried the sheglam cream contour palette and it's creamy, buttery and blends beautifully. It has cream matt highlight and cream blush too. You can't go wrong for the quality and price.
At some point could you review MUA Makeup Academy? They're pretty cheap as well. I have a few of their products and mostly like them, and I'd love to hear your opinion on what's worth trying.
@@panciupanga I have their moisturising primer, a lipstick and a lip liner. The primer is okay, it's very smoothing, and the lipstick is very pigmented and creamy, but the lip liner isn't great. I also have this highlighter spray, which is really fun and gives an all over shimmer.
I loved your comments in the beginning about the packaging being “disrespectful”. That is SUCH a good way to describe it! We all understand that this is a budget friendly brand. No one is expecting a luxury experience. However, this is coming all the way from overseas, and very simple protective elements like paper shreds (or even packing peanuts) can make a huge difference without adding much extra cost. The brand can be cost effective without being CHEAP. Tossing it all in a poly mailer without any protective filler is not “affordable”, it’s “cheap” and not a cute look.

I have a eyeshadow pallet, a concealer and a gloss, and honestly I really like them. The pallet is really good quality(color me coral), the gloss is really interesting, it stains the lip, like a lip tint, and get’s glossy(Birthday lips), and the concealer isn’t over drying at all, has quite a beautiful natural finish and good coverage(versatile flawless). I was very impressed, honestly 😂

I’ve tried their eyeshadow palettes too. I’ve bought quite a lot as well. It is a hit and miss in one palette. Some have good pigmentation and some are not. So far the shadows I like are working nicely so no complain in terms of the price paint.
I just got a shipment of their women's clothing and it was all very good quality. I've also placed orders in the past and have liked it all. Maybe they need to improve their men's apparel. I'm excited to try some of their makeup! Thanks for reviewing!
I actually trust you, your opinion and recommendations which is sooo rare nowadays. I have never bought anything from Shein bc like you said, it all just looks so cheap, it is cheap and I expect it to be cheap quality but I've heard great things about the Shein make up line and couldn't fully believe it bc, again, its so hard to trust anyone on the internet these days. I have 2 of the eyeshadow palettes & I absolutely LOVE them! They are so much better quality than they have any right to be for the price point. I swatched a few shades when I got my first one & wasn’t too hopeful, but once I used them with a primer I was very pleasantly surprised.
Honestly the eye look came out looking fun! I swear Robert can really make anything look good and I’m always so impressed bc I just cannot do makeup properly at all… I’ve always tried and love makeup but I’m not creative or even good at coloring or any kind of art or something lol but love watching and learning regardless 💜
I have to say I love their make up and some of the cloths. I actually have this foundation and this is the only one that doesn’t make me oily. And I love that eye shadow palettes. Beach sunset is my favourite though (even if I’m terrible at applying it 🙄)
I did order that a few months ago A light shade for my fall/winter shade and a darker shade for my spring /summer shade. I did fall in love with it. Just need to do one side at the time. I’m enjoying there products

I'd watch this video a few weeks ago and it prompted me to go to Sheen and purchase some of the she Glam products, specifically the foundation. My word! I am beyond pleased with that breathable matte foundation. Immediately I was impressed because the lightest shade is what I usually need and oftentimes with companies it's never light enough. However this she Glam Foundation was the perfect shade. Stunned! I can also attest to it being sweatproof, as I live in hot humid South Florida. I absolutely love it and my skin looks flawless. I know it's a long shot that you'll see this Robert, because the video is nearly a year old. I want to thank you for doing this video and sharing your feedback. I hope anyone else who's reading this may find this review helpful.

Yes! Elf has fast shipping and great packaging. Better than some high end. Once I ordered a cream bronzer from Fenty and it was almost in a dry wall type envelope and it looked like a mouse tore dry wall fuzzies all over my car 😏

Shitty brand aside, I always commend you as well as James that you mention that affordability is relative because as you said, even affordable makeup (or skincare) can be one of two things some people are able to buy in a month. Even something cheap turning out broken or being shit for some people can mean wasted money that could be put in something more significant, and all they wanted is to treat themselves.

Not me being years late, but I just have to say-- Although I dislike Shein, I really appreciate you being realistic and non-judgemental about the fact that some people can't afford more expensive makeup. If SheGlam is what is within someone's budget, they should not be made to feel bad about it.

Ok, Robert I just opened my box from Shein. I must say, they took your advice. My palate was packed inside of styrofoam. It was inside of a box filled with soft items, but it looks like if it were an order of just makeup, the styrofoam is standard. Well, the foundation is amazing. I am shocked at the color match, and the formula. I have purchased the lippies and eye pencils before, but never went into any real makeup. Your video had me interested in going for more. When you continued to say "I'm confused", I now understand why. I have purchased the same item from other brands and spent a lot more. I am impressed. Thanks for the review.

I got mascara from that brand and I’m pretty sure it was the reason for the styes I got... Also with their manufacturing, if I had known about the lack of labor pay and regulations, I would have never gotten makeup from there. The package sent to me was really dirty and had a hole too!!

I think Sheglam definitely watched your video. I discovered and ordered from them a few months back and they packaged and shipped everything out like it was medical samples. They discontinued the cigarette plastic wrap for card-based boxes, shipped everything in an sturdy black box, and all my palettes came encased in custom fitted styrofoam blocks for each palette to ensure quality control of the eye shadows and to add additional padding for other smaller products inside during transit. The only downfall I've noticed personally is that some of their shadows seem to have just a little bit of fallout, but the pigments are full coverage and you get so much product for way you pay for. Super amazing brand if you have kids or younger siblings that are just getting into makeup! My kid sister steals my palettes all the time lol

I agree about shipping in the bag! Also, I was looking on their site and saw in checkout that it says you can add $0.99 shipping insurance or something it was called. I looked to see what that was, and it says if something is lost in shipment or broken and you pay that $0.99, then they’ll replace it. Shipping it like that they should replace it whether someone pays the $0.99 or not I think

Thank you so much talking about cheaper products and still having some expectations. I lived my life just trying to not be seen and at 48 I just started getting into makeup and went stupid and ordered close to $700 in products. In my spending I ordered some drug store products. One being an eyeshadow palette that arrived in an envelope. No padding. Each shadow smashed to oblivion. In my excitement I sat down on my bed and opened the envelope and was immediately covered in eyeshadow dust. All over my quilt and my dress clothes. All I could think was this was karma's way of telling me I had bought enough products.

I'm always afraid of brands like these, the eyeshadow won't show up on my skin tone and forget about a shade match in the foundation
I have two eyeshadow palettes, & I will say that I think they definitely need a good primer under them, but was very pleasantly surprised. We’re obviously different skin tones, but I think with the right primer they’d be good. And the 9 pan palettes are only $6, so it’s not a huge commitment.
Not to mention the fact that Shein uses legit slave labor.
I am always worried that because they are cheap they will have really bad chemicals in them that are bad for your face. I saw a program were they tested knock off make up and some had asbestos etc in them so that’s what I’d be most worried about

I have issues with fast fashion like SHEIN and exploitation etc but I gamble on their clothing a lot bc I’m a bigger girl and it gets expensive to find clothes for myself, so I was trying to get free shipping and bought some eye shadow and I was IMPRESSED!! I don’t really like their glittery shadows bc I find that they are weird textures and like doesn’t look right on my eye lid but regular matte ones were great I found.

That “compacting” of The pigment occures especially in finely milled pigment, when oil gets into contact with it. It can especially happen if you use artificial bristled brushes as they cannot absorb oils/moisture. It can completely ruin a product.
The plus size clothes I have purchased are beautiful quality. Some velvet dresses from them are some of my favorites. And I love the models are actually plus sized.
I've also purchased some makeup have not been dissatisfied.
I just received my order from Sheglam yesterday and i used the foundation today and i like it very much!
I also have 6 eye shadow pallets and the diamond sponge is really nice to use.

I haven't purchased a lot of make up products from SheGlam, but they have one of the few contour shades that looks just right on super pale skin that is actually a grey brown shade and I absolutely adore that item. It's their Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour in the shade "Soft Tan."
You should do a full face of Honest Beauty make up products! I'm obsessed with her tinted cc cream that is also a mineral based sunscreen with spf 30

Hi there:) may I recommend the following palettes for cool toned (I am too!) they get more expensive as they go along.
- makeup revolution forever flawless palette.
- colourpop Baroque palette also Stone Cold Fox by them.
- smash box cover shot in punked.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette
- Natasha Denona Glam palette.
- Scott Barnes - Glamazon palette.
The thing about the price is that because the manufacturers and labs are in China (Home country of Shein) it costs them way less than western brands producing making makeup with the same labs and manufacturers so these palettes would be 10 to 12 dollars in the US instead of 5 dollars. People often forget that China still produces many makeup for other brands. They have the knowledge and the ressources but I would say be aware of the ingredients.
BUT please reconsider buying from shein because they are very unethical..
Not only that but this also means their makeup is tested on animals!
@@chickpea Wasn't the animal testing requirement only for foreign made brands that wanted to be sold in China? And even that got scrapped this year.
Not saying Shein is a good company to buy from, but it is possible they don't actually test on animals (have no idea of their actual status given how horrible they are otherwise).

I agree with their packages. they do the same with their clothes. But I will say that their customer service is phenomenal. One of the packages I ordered was opened. I was missing like 7 items and they replaced the ones that I didn't get and refunded things too. They didn't ask questions or make it seem like I was lying, trying to get free product, etc. It was great and it was a huge relief with my anxiety lol. We even called usps before talking to shein to see if the missing items were in the truck.

I swear by their eyeshadow pallettes! I’ve never spent much money on eyeshadow so I’m only used to drugstore but they are by far some of my favourite eyeshadows ever. I’ve just placed an order for this foundation, I really like the eyebrow pencil too! I have one of their lipsticks too that has the coolest packaging where you press a button and it pops out to open it x

I think the plastic wrap it's because China has a lot of issues with second handed products that are sell abroad, so they just want to make sure you know you are receiving a brand new product, at least that's what I think, 🤷♀️

Shein is an absolutely terrible company.. participating in horrendous labor practices (think forced labor) and working conditions. I don't think this is common knowledge, but I have seen more people discovering this about them. I just had to put this out there to reach people that didn't know.
It’s actually quite obvious. If you’re selling items that are so cheap, not only you’re involved in these practices but you’re also harming customers by using the cheapest and nastiest ingredients. I would not want to put that on my skin.

I wouldnt trust anything from shein that wasnt run through laboratory tests. Foreign customer laws usually are very weak in China. It s best to buy from big european or American companies even if they produce in China. If there is mercury in their stuff they get sued but if you have the same issue with a seller from China noone cares. And remember mercury stays in your body.
At the end of the day, shein and a majority of other brands all participate in horrendous labor practices, it’s everywhere. Only thing is this place keeps it cheap whereas everywhere else hikes the prices up so🙇🏻♀️ shop at opshops or markets where you know it’s sustainable !

I was one of the people who asked for the Sheglam review, because I tried one lipstick + liner and the brow pencil and loved both. So thx for doing this! As for your confusion regarding packaging & texture/quality: Shein says they use the same producers as way more expensive brands but for a fraction of the money. From what I've tried I agree with them (mine came in a box, but I'd also ordered a jacket).
Am very interested in the rest of their stuff. Hopefully you can try any other products (they have a lot) some time later.
Edit: now reading some comments that apparently they're very unethical, slave labor and all that. Going to check. I have barely budget for make-up (the bit of extras I have - also limited- often go to drugstore or Deciem skin&hair care because I have difficult, extremely sensitive skin and a hair disease), so finding good and ethical brands in my budget isn't easy.
Nice to see someone else likes Shein stuff. Seeing and many other brands use the same suppliers it's like buying from a supermarket alot of the times the suppliers are the same they just put a different name on it. @@rosettasilvermist Very true! Actually, even in an actual supermarket 50% of products is the same, just their outside differs. As for Shein: their plussize range has definitely improved! Unlike other stores that think that curvy girls should wear big saggy tents, Shein creates - and works with designers that create - sexy and elegant outfits that enhance a woman's shape. Not make her look dowdy and square. I am a tad overweight now due to illness, but not considered plussize yet, and often look in that section for bikinis (even in my size 34 I was well endowed) and when I do reviews. Whenever I buy sth for a challenge (my own, like Full Outfits under $20) on Instagram, I want to know there is a variety or the same item in the plussize section, so that it is a more inclusive look. That's why I know. Actually: the plussize section often has much cuter dresses 😅. I dress retro (50s with a touch of 40s) because I love the style of course, but I've also noticed that when I gained 20kg (45lbs) my retro brand clothes still looked great on me, some even better than before. So I look into Shein's vintage section too. Dressing 50s isn't cheap (I buy mostly 2nd hand, but that's fine with me. Plenty people wear an item only once), so it's great when you have a store that helps with a tiny budget. Though I'm still worried about the ethics part.

I just ordered clothes for the first time from shein. I'm a plus size American, living in Asia, and it tends to be hard for me to find clothes that aren't old style fat people clothes.. it was convenient, but I have heard stories, so I was cautious and only bought a couple items, I've been pleasantly surprised myself by the clothes I got. I got 2 pairs of longer length high rise shorts and 2 tops.
Their packaging is that bad with clothing orders as well. I’ve hesitated buying anything else from shein because the last two orders I received had holes as well that were big enough to make me freak out hoping my things were there. I love your honesty it’s one of the many reasons why your channel is one of my favorites. 🖤

Soo I did a a big Sheglam order a while back and I’m actually loving everything I got 😬. The makeup was a tough match but I found a good one finally as I got tan for the summer. Is it not the softest and prettiest coverage??!! I got the little sample packs of several first. Then I ordered a few bottles just for the heck of it. The brow pencil I got is lovely for me. I just do basic shading. The liquid eyeliner pen is my absolutely favorite. I get my best wings with it! Got a couple lip glosses that are nice. And all the eyeshadow pallets I bought were perfect. I’m personally very impressed. But I definitely understand the concerns with the packaging. Mine were actually wrapped in padding so it was a pain to get in to, but I thought it was nice because they were traveling overseas lol.
I have quite a few sheglam products, and they are all very nice. The lipsticks in the black packaging have a magnetic closure, and I love the liquid blushes.

I recently tried the sheglam cream contour palette and it's creamy, buttery and blends beautifully. It has cream matt highlight and cream blush too. You can't go wrong for the quality and price.
At some point could you review MUA Makeup Academy? They're pretty cheap as well. I have a few of their products and mostly like them, and I'd love to hear your opinion on what's worth trying.

@@panciupanga I have their moisturising primer, a lipstick and a lip liner. The primer is okay, it's very smoothing, and the lipstick is very pigmented and creamy, but the lip liner isn't great. I also have this highlighter spray, which is really fun and gives an all over shimmer.

We all understand that this is a budget friendly brand. No one is expecting a luxury experience. However, this is coming all the way from overseas, and very simple protective elements like paper shreds (or even packing peanuts) can make a huge difference without adding much extra cost. The brand can be cost effective without being CHEAP. Tossing it all in a poly mailer without any protective filler is not “affordable”, it’s “cheap” and not a cute look.

I have a eyeshadow pallet, a concealer and a gloss, and honestly I really like them. The pallet is really good quality(color me coral), the gloss is really interesting, it stains the lip, like a lip tint, and get’s glossy(Birthday lips), and the concealer isn’t over drying at all, has quite a beautiful natural finish and good coverage(versatile flawless). I was very impressed, honestly 😂
@@chewinggum5337 oh snap. Ok. I may give it a try. Honestly if I hate it, no love loss because it's so affordable. But, when I received my clothes I got from them, they had a strange smell. Lol so that worried me too, but when I saw Robert sniff them I knew they were ok.
I’ve tried their eyeshadow palettes too. I’ve bought quite a lot as well. It is a hit and miss in one palette. Some have good pigmentation and some are not. So far the shadows I like are working nicely so no complain in terms of the price paint.
I like shopmissa's packaging. Wish more companies did it like that. Something coming broken is much less likely.
I just got a shipment of their women's clothing and it was all very good quality. I've also placed orders in the past and have liked it all. Maybe they need to improve their men's apparel. I'm excited to try some of their makeup! Thanks for reviewing!

I actually trust you, your opinion and recommendations which is sooo rare nowadays. I have never bought anything from Shein bc like you said, it all just looks so cheap, it is cheap and I expect it to be cheap quality but I've heard great things about the Shein make up line and couldn't fully believe it bc, again, its so hard to trust anyone on the internet these days. I have 2 of the eyeshadow palettes & I absolutely LOVE them! They are so much better quality than they have any right to be for the price point. I swatched a few shades when I got my first one & wasn’t too hopeful, but once I used them with a primer I was very pleasantly surprised.
Honestly the eye look came out looking fun! I swear Robert can really make anything look good and I’m always so impressed bc I just cannot do makeup properly at all… I’ve always tried and love makeup but I’m not creative or even good at coloring or any kind of art or something lol but love watching and learning regardless 💜

I have to say I love their make up and some of the cloths. I actually have this foundation and this is the only one that doesn’t make me oily. And I love that eye shadow palettes. Beach sunset is my favourite though (even if I’m terrible at applying it 🙄)

A light shade for my fall/winter shade and a darker shade for my spring /summer shade. I did fall in love with it. Just need to do one side at the time. I’m enjoying there products
I love this foundation from SHEIN too and I have dry skin. I think it suit everyone almost ! You should test the liquid blush color bloom its amazing !
I'd watch this video a few weeks ago and it prompted me to go to Sheen and purchase some of the she Glam products, specifically the foundation. My word! I am beyond pleased with that breathable matte foundation. Immediately I was impressed because the lightest shade is what I usually need and oftentimes with companies it's never light enough. However this she Glam Foundation was the perfect shade. Stunned! I can also attest to it being sweatproof, as I live in hot humid South Florida. I absolutely love it and my skin looks flawless. I know it's a long shot that you'll see this Robert, because the video is nearly a year old. I want to thank you for doing this video and sharing your feedback. I hope anyone else who's reading this may find this review helpful.
