My friend was just saying to me today that she's getting really fed up with the lack of customer service these days. It seems to be a 'thing' almost everywhere. Some small shops are still great, but the bigger ones, not so much.
Keep smiling Margaret. You have been a busy gal. Most of the time my shopping/customer service goes alot like yours. LOL. However I will brag, my husband who is 74 with a bad knee (can hardly walk) and COPD (can hardly breathe with activity) and I had to pick up 6-40 pound bags of chicken feed at the local farm store. A nice young man, an employee, saw him lifting the first bag, came right over, insisted on loading our cart and pushing it to check out and then out to our truck to load it. He wouldn't let my husband do any of it. The amazing thing was he actually acted like he enjoyed helping us, like it wasn't a chore to do his job. I think this young man will go far. Attitude is everything no matter what job you are in.

I always wanted a sister and have decided you are it! I can just imagine working side by side getting those chores done twice as fast!! I think what some people don’t understand about us is we actually enjoy the chores/task and getting it done!! I work beside you everyday getting it done and look forward to your videos to see what you have accomplished as well! Most of the women that live around me are not doers!

Hello Margaret! Was delighted to see a new video. I think well 1st there's very little customer service nowadays and work ethic is no longer a desirable thing for some people. 2nd you do more than most even 30 year olds so the odds of more glitches the more you do. You're amazing, seriously. I know Mike & Nikki have to know how blessed they are. I know as a mom & mom-in-law I did all I could when asked and needed but that being said though there were some sacrifices all out of love; I never worked as hard as you.
You could teach a course in work ethic & then customer service.
Can't believe you cut through that grass to edge it oh second thought yes I can it's you Margaret 😅. Determination. Remember to exhale and the TV i think felt do bad that it wasn't working after all you do it self adjusted to work lol.
This is going to sound weird ok weirder but just recalled a book from years ago something like Hello God it's Margaret. 😅sorry just thought about you asking why....I think corporate should hear about this store's management needing meetings in shifts to have half their workforce available to give customer service as that's what their meetings need to be about. Margaret I love watching you and have to say I'll be 62 in October and wish I had your energy! My goodness how you can get stuff done! Don't forget to drink lots of water in this heat and take breaks. With all you've accomplished would hate to see you get ill. Dobyou have central air? If not maybe try running a dehumidifier? That will help the humidity. The college boy was probably jyst worried about humidity on the walls if he needs to paint? Well take care and be careful!❤
I hear ya on the getting “lost in the cracks” syndrome. I have gotten the same kind of ‘ghosting’ through the ages. Somehow I am still shocked when it happens. 😳

Personally, I have mastered the art of laziness. I'm pretty much stress-free. It's nice. But . . . this is me.
l am still in the midst of my potato chip binge. I'm putting on some unhealthy pounds. Apparently, I don't care. One would think, at some point, the thought of eating one more chip would be nauseating. I hope that happens soon. Meanwhile, I'm going to price the cost of having wider doors installed to the outside world, just in case this potato chip thing gets out of hand.

Also, I'm living vicariously through you. I'm getting all of my exercise by reading about your never-ending projects and watching you in your videos. No wonder I take so many naps!

Recently after a person behind the counter treated me like a simpleton I went to my car sat down and wrote down what I wanted…yes of course in bold print ….and just for backup I included a picture from google. I have a love hate relationship with technology but this time I got my own back and the post level I needed. Some people are DOH!

It must be hard to smile when all this happens to you. I was so hoping things were going good for you with a modular home. Seems like it is like this with everything now days, is it that stores don’t care anymore. We went thru this with Lowes when we wanted to put down new flooring. They keep making mistakes and changing days that we finally said forget it and got our money back and no new floors. Hope the rest of the week goes well for you. Your family are going to be so happy to come home to all that you have done. You are amazing.

Hi Margaret (again),
I had a total knee replacement in January. Recently, I asked my doctor if he could write an order so that I can have more physical therapy. His office was supposed to fax the order to the local clinic where I will go for PT. 2 days later I did not hear anything so I went to the clinic and checked if they had received it. They had not. Luckily, his office gave me a hard copy of the order which I gave to the clinic. Had I not listened to my gut, I would have been waiting forever to hear from the clinic! A fax should reach its destination in a matter of minutes( especially when it is in the same city!) Anyway, I am going to PT this Friday and my insurance will cover up to 15 sessions. I am so excited about this!! When I got home in January, I had only 4 sessions ( at home) of PT which was not enough. Elizabeth in Texas

Margaret...it's not just you. My dentist's office sent my notes and xrays to the oral surgeon's office twice. Oral surgeon's office says they don't have them. even though the dentist's office has records of sending them. I was at the dentist today and got the hard copies to take to the oral surgeon. I think these issues are because kids heard, too many times, "good job" for just waking into a room. This comment will probably get a lot of backlash! Sorry!

Regarding the UA-cam algorithm, yes I found I was unsubscribed from one channel, not you. I watched a live a few days ago by GarrettLeChic, if you’d like to watch somebody who’s actually a decorator who went to design school, he’s awesome but anyway, he said that UA-cam pays attention to the first hour that your video was published and the engagement and views that you get in that first hour and that determines how they’re going to put your video out there in the algorithm. I don’t know if that’s true but it may make a big difference on time of day that your video comes out. I don’t know, that’s what I heard.
