You have forgotten the most common. Hydraulic override. Either drum or disc.
Far better than cable operated brakes. The drum brakes is more efficient as it requires far less line pressure to function. A 3/4" master gives excellent braking without much stroke. Discs require a 5/8 cylinder with a LOT more stroke, to the limit of the override mechanism.
Electric brakes of whatever style require the tow vehicle to be fitted with specialist components. And having experienced them to me they leave a lot to be desired.
