- Brian is interviewed on FNC to promote a new reissue of Live at the Roxy Theatre and talk about the 2001 summer tour with Paul Simon. Given Brian's usual discomfort with being interviewed, this one went surprisingly smoothly, at least at first.
That clip of the Nutty Professor at the start was actually a piece of foreshadowing towards Brian’s favourite movie being Norbit
whenever I'm feeling down, I just think about Brian's fave movie ever and it never fails to crack me up
imagine brian watching the waterslide scene
Brian, is so genuine ! Long live the memory of the incomparable Brother’s Wilson !
I just played surfin USA. and other Beach Boys songs on my keyboard. Yes I do feel like Brian Wilson.
I guess that being named Brian Wilson automatically means that you have a fantastic hairline.
Yeah, no kidding! (For the record, I for one am most definitely NOT named Brian Wilson. :) )
This is a fine interview !
The interviewer did a great job casually switching topics when Brian got confused.
At the end you can even see Brian rising up in his chair before the camera turns off and you hear him ask, "we done?"
Dont think this presenter realizes who hes talking to
What a gentlemen. Instead of making hte interviewer feel like a fool for not doing his research, he simply said "Sorry I cant remember." Wow!!
He's adorable
“You don’t know?!”
God this got awkward very quickly..... he put Brian in an uncomfortable position
He did just fine here, you’re projecting.
Wherever Brian is doesn't really matter, but it's not here with the rest of us normies. (PS - this is a compliment!)
So freaking awkward lol. Some parts of this are hard to watch haha
And to think this was from 2001.
@J oh I know. I’ve been a fan for over 20 years and know almost everything about him and the band without actually knowing him in person. Just saying that this interview is awkward as hell… more in a way that just makes me chuckle. With Brian, I think you gotta have a sense of humor about it (as I’m sure he does as well). And, he has done plenty of interviews that aren’t as awkward as this one.
I think Brian comes off as pretty lucid in this interview. Way more with it than many other interviews he's done.
He did fine here wtf, he can’t really win is his real problem.
