    Great explanation. My professor did no explain why the field was zero and we just had to assume it but that doesnt fit with me so thank you

    Intuition suggests the charges on a charged conductor would be positioned such that they are at a maximum distance from each other, therefore many would be inside the conductor. Why would they go to the surface?

    Sir how is electric field produced inside a wire ( if the wire is not straight) when we connect a both terminals of battery to that wire at the same time.

      positive charges simply mean the absence of electrons, it is not they are lying around
