Thanks for your hay weight demonstration with that nice scale. I'm going to order one to use on the farm. BTW, did you deduct the weight of the chain? No big deal.
@christopherjake5610 thank you, I hope it serves you well! Once I had the weight of the chain dangling, I 'zero'd out' the scale. Might have still been a few pounds of chain on the bale but nothing significant.

I think I'm gonna order one of those scales to weigh baby calves. gotta make a sling but I think it'll work, thank you for the idea
