I feel like they should have continued the games in the style of black flag. That felt like a true AC game (gameplay wise)
When we actually have to see where and what we're climbing. I think the last AC i actually enjoyed was Syndicate. I think both Unity and Syndicate do have flaws but they're on the right path, now it's just full blown RPG fighting game. Like, why buy AC for the combat system when there are tons of other games which are much better at that.
The AI in Assassin's Creed Games are about as Smart as UA-cams Algorithm.
This man makes any game's AI look dumb.

3:32 I feel so bad for those guys. They literally see there friends combust in front of them and now they've got so much blood on themselves they're traumatized. So now they try to run and ezio just stands there and sends assassins to chase after them.

Rope dart is the coolest thin I hope it comes back in Valhalla. As morbid as it sounds it was so cool just to hang guards with it whilst sneaking through the forests in AC3

R2 + cross or rt + A while standing still (hold the sprint buttons while standing still)

This video showcases what a difference in player-tools and creativity exists between the Golden Age of Assassin's Creed (AC1-Rogue) and all the subsequent games (Unity-Odyssey). It's nearly incomparable. The amount of creativity and emergence, systemic rules clashing together and resolving in interesting cascades of consequences in oldskool AC is something the new games barely even have shreds of. When people ask me why I feel Assassin's Creed has lots its soul, I don't even have to point to the story, that's the *easy* part, everyone already knows that. I can just show them something as creative and emergent as this. The contrast is night and day. The amount of different Things you can do in this game crushes that same property in AC Odyssey.

Unity is a very unique, and special game, but it's definitely not universally taken as "good." It has a lot of problems.
If you combined the parkour of the Ezio trilogy with the stealth of Unity/Syndicate and topped it off with the combat of the Kenway saga, you'd have the best AC game ever made.
Stealth of syndicate, parkour of unity combat of ac3 plus the moves of the old ac games, graphics of valhalla
Combat of Ac2 and brotherhood still better because Ac3's combat barely poses any challenge to execute.

Parkour and stealth of Rogue (with manual crouching) and combat of AC3 original. The stealth in Unity is buggy with detection and you csn randomly glitch in and out of cover, syndicate is better than unity's, but i wosh the whiatling range was shorter and there were more hiding spots. There is simply no good reason for the ezio trilogy to be the best in parkour, no vaulting, no parkour down, but in Rogue you have all the stuff.

Assassins creed revelations has very awsome sound effects and combat system, if only it had the same moving mechanics of black flag that would be insanly epic

İskender Çağlar he's obviously someone that hasn't followed the franchise long. Literally everyone have AC shit for not ever changing the formula, so AC Origins was the change and it was a huge success. I miss the style of the old games but so many people called for a change I understand why they did it.

I completely disagree, gameplay was full of bugs at least for pc, and the Turkish voice acting was entirely trash so much so that nobody who speaks Turkish can play the game for 10 minutes without laughing or cringing at the npcs
An unexpected throwback, but fun and entertaining to be sure. Anyone else remember grinding these games back when the AC series was good?
I love the flashbacks dude. Love seeing gameplay from older games from time to time. Also I've always wanted to play revelations but never got around to it. I think you just reignited my interest.

I love AC 4 and played around with a lot of mechanics, but somehow you manage to easily blow me out of the water with things that I've never tried.

Ah, the old trick of dropping them on their own grenade, loved doing that. Don't know if shadow of mordor/war are a possibility for you, but they've got some fun stealth mechanics. However, it might be hard for you to get the footage if you need to practice it first, no replay in mordor and war is limited in what you can.

There's some cool double and sometimes triple kills you can do in AC3/4/rogue. Pretty sure brotherhood-revelations had double kills as well

Don't know why, but Revelations is my favourite part of Ezio's adventure
It is so cool seeing fresh AC Revelations and AC Black Flag Gameplay on your channel. I love thes games and I really don't like the way Ubisoft has taken with the franchise now. Origins was a good open world game (with a poorly written story/characters, though) but turning AC into a RPG just didn't fit imo. Now they are just neglecting the own unique gameplay loop (stealth, parcour and cool combat animations) and copy and paste from other games.
People once complained that AC is "always the same" (what wasn't the case imo) and now they are praising the new AC way. I don't understand why it is better to copy and paste from other games than copy and paste the own uniqueness of the franchise. I haven't even bought Odyssey, because it didn't feel like a AC game anymore for me. But sales are up again so nobody cares for an old AC Fanboy...
One question: How did you crouch on 0:39. I remember crouching wasn't a thing in Revelations? Can you share your trick?

i think he anticipated for a jump
It's the jump animation, you had to hold the A button and RT button while being stationary, and when released Ezio would be able to hang while jumping from the ground.
So in this case he used it as a sneak mechanic which worked really well.
