Awesome cover! But i want to know what you think of the intro, does it have a panning effect? like if you listen to the audio on headphones, the synth string does kinda have that but i am not sure if we can achieve that on low to midrange keyboards (yours is on the midrange. I only have a korg kross 1. lol).
Thanks! Yes the original recording has a type of ping-pong delay on the intro that pans left and right. I couldn’t duplicate that effect so I just played the delay manually and without panning
@@rsato1able i watched the live performance of the song and they did not recreate the effect for the intro. I also tried to build a patch for the song because this was given as an assignment for the band next week and i was pleased that my korg kross 1 had a preset synth that soinds just like the original..minus the pingpong panning of course. 😁
Thanks for watching! The patches I used are listed in one of the replies to the previous comments. (I know, I should just put it in the video description... one of these days).
Gracias. Es el sonido original con pequeños ajustes. Si mal no recuerdo, los parches son "80's Brass 1" para el verso; “80’s Saws 1” para el coro y “Strings LS” para las cuerdas de acompañamiento.
I don’t think the original was a drum machine, to me it sounds like an actual drummer on a Simmons SDS-5 (particularly the tom fills) that were wildly popular at that time.
that was awesome !!
Awesome. Great work. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Bad ass cover🔥👍🏼🔥
I was watching your channel and you've got GREAT covers videos! Congrats, loved it :)
Nice left hand dude. Well done.
The ending is magnificent.. You nailed it! 👏
amazing!
Bravo, man!
Nice!
Do you know if the original synth hook in the verses was played or if it was a sequencer, arpeggiator or some other programming?
Can you tell me sound you're using? I see the 80s brass but I don't see the other layer!
No layering, only keyboard splits. Lower keyboard uses "80s Brass 1", middle section is "Strings LS", upper keyboard is "80s Saws1".

Amigo viene con ese sonido o lo has creado

What drum machine is in the original???

@@rsato1able YEA I thought the toms fills seems human triggered

Will put it on my to-do list!
