Yes!!!!! From one nerdy costume maker to another (WA based) RESPECT!!!!!! and will point other people in your direction.😄
@@jaxtelford807 thanks soooo much!!!!
Käärijä in the background. 😄 All the patterns look nice. That bag could be a good elf bag at a cosplay convention. 🍃🍂🍀🍁
@@nian60 yes you noticed!!! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 The bag would be so good for an elf Cosplay!
@@amyofmelbourne Yes. 😃
2:54 also I've learned from Noelle at costuming drama and a couple of other places on the Internet that if you sew your fabric into a Mobius strip that it doesn't turn into hellacious tightly wound length of fabric. It seems to work for me too!
You're a brave woman, Amy, going out to film in 0 degrees! Our Melbourne winter is freezing this year! As always, I enjoy your videos. Every time, I learn something and am entertained and inspired. I'm off to sew now! 💖
@@Jane-cr9bp thanks Jane! I wore my thermals under the skirt 🤣🤣🤣
@@amyofmelbourne I've been wearing mine under my work trousers 🤣
That outfit is wonderful! Well done and so pretty. I’ve been sewing for over 50 years, I’ll check out your pattern testing, depending on your time frame I may be able to help.
@@ladyjusticesusan that would be amazing if you could!
Oh man I need this pattern.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oooh, I know exactly who to send that testing link to, they were planning to make stays literally yesterday amd struggling to find a pattern.
That fabric is SO cute! What a great ensemble!
@@Ferry-ug6ip ooh yes please and thank you!
Loved this! Thanks. New subscriber 🎉
@@keniaarandacruz733 awe thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️
What a cutie 🥰
It’s hundred times easier if you cut your fabric along as you pull the thread 😉
Great tip, thank you! I will definitely do that next time
hi, that dress is my perfect style! if you still need testers i can make up a set of stays...how can i sign up?
There’s a link near the end of the description. 😊 (the last link under the heading “contact info”)
Thank you!
That would be awesome, the link is in the description, otherwise search "Amy of Melbourne" in Facebook groups
This outfit is so SO lovely!! I honestly teared up at the reveal.. 🥲
I've always wanted all these beautiful whimsical clothes, but even when I could afford them, I rarely found anything I liked in my size and/or shape (my body is very similar to yours, it's actually kind of ridiculous how similar we are, it's like looking at me with another face 😅).
I am currently negotiating with myself if I am ready to take the leap and sew everything myself. When I finally make it, I'll definitely start with your patterns!
Thai is a beautiful comment, thank you so so much!
Sewing your own clothes, even some, is such a freedom! Reach out if you need any help ☺️
@@amyofmelbourne Thank you, I will! Even though I feel like your channel is an immense help already. ☺
