- BlackRock launched BUIDL on the Ethereum blockchain last month. Developed in collaboration with Securitize, a frontrunner in the tokenization of real-world assets, the fund aims to provide qualified investors with a novel method to earn US dollar yields by subscribing through Securitize Markets, LLC. Circle’s (USDC) smart contract is designed to give BUIDL investors a continuous, 24/7 off-ramp from BUIDL, capitalizing on the benefits of tokenized assets like speed, efficiency, and transparency.

I still cannot understand how real estate property can be tokenized from a legal ownership perspective of Title, County records and taxes, liens and digital security. It seems that at the end of the day only registered records with county and Title company will be honored and if digitized it will be risky unless the digital token is the registered entity in the Title company and the county. It seems we are 20 years away for it to really happen considering how City hall works
Also, what if someone steals your digital tokenized real estate?

Assets have been tokenized on Hbar but it’s not a direct connection it’s a third party connection still doing the work for black rock.
