I used to pass Haputale to the place where I was teaching. It was in 1970. I used to take my visitors to Dunghinda waterfall not far from there. Why did you miss that wonderful waterfall?
we were there for a very short time unfortunately and because of Shehaans injury we did not want to try hikig to any waterfalls at the time. will check it out next time we are in the hills

Hi Sheneller, I've been to The Cliff Lodge. But Wasantha didnt even utter a word about the Secret Pool. Had he told us, definitely would have had a dip there. Is it far from the Lodge?
Hi Eranga! Yes it was quite far from the cliff lodge itself. However a 45 min drive from Beragala town. And I think he only recently decided to show it as part of an experience in the region. Definitely worth checking out the next time you visit the area.
