Seen as though I work for Community Transport Calderdale, driving minibus around Calderdale everyday, you'd think I'd by sick of seeing it. I'm not sick of seeing it and this is a great video.
Just found this, it's wonderful! I live in Derbyshire but was in Halifax and Sowerby Bridge at the weekend. It is a lovely area with some great views and places. I've always liked Calderdale Brilliant video.
Superb stuff Christian. Loved it. This reminds me of my home town. Beautiful place and didn't realise this when I left for London to go to Uni. Thanks for sharing. Claire Pawson, Sheffield.
Wow - love it! I've lived in Calderdale all my life and in the Calder Valley for a vast majority of my adulthood. I've always admired the area's rugged beauty but seeing it from above just magnifies its precipitous majesty. 🥰
Great drone filming; fabulous (I could see my house.) There's another even "littler" Calder that starts at the same point at Cliviger and runs west into Lancashire. 20 miles long. "Our" Calder is about 43 miles long - no hubris intended.
Wonderful. I moved away from Tod a few years ago, so this is a nice, surprising way of seeing some of the best bits of the valley, so thanks for sharing this.

Wonderful
Fabulous! We forget how lucky we actually are. Happy Valley! X
A stunningly beautiful presentation. Nice to see the 'Tops' above Cragg Vale at the end. I was born and raised on those 'Tops' .
Absolutely fabulous Film Gentlemen shows the true beauty of the area through the seasons
Thank you Tracy :)

This is literally breathtaking. About a minute in I realised I wasn’t breathing 😳
Glad you got your breath back! Thank you for such a lovely review. :)
It is far more than a nice demo reel... Superb.
Born there, Cape Town now, and the closest I've ever been moved to returning...
Thank you John, glad the film has brought back some nice memories for you :)

We certainly are lucky living in this beautiful corner of Yorkshire!
You have some remarkable timelapse clips, some remarkable drone footage and you've made an amazing video with a great soundtrack. Awesome!
Thank you :)

Maybe that's another film project for the future Steve :)

Thank you Dominic, glad you enjoyed the film :)
Smashing. For me, I'd prefer more architecture (especially the old weaver's cottages etc) and fewer of the canals.
we got a lot of place names with calder my village has a river called the calder and a street name calder avenue
Do all those other 'Calders' have a 250 foot tower in them?
