Seen as though I work for Community Transport Calderdale, driving minibus around Calderdale everyday, you'd think I'd by sick of seeing it. I'm not sick of seeing it and this is a great video.

Just found this, it's wonderful! I live in Derbyshire but was in Halifax and Sowerby Bridge at the weekend. It is a lovely area with some great views and places. I've always liked Calderdale Brilliant video.

One of the most beautiful films I've seen of Calderdale

I remember being at the demolition of the cooling towers at Kimberworth by the side of Meadowhall. Nothing quite like seeing some huge cooling towers being demolished it really is quite the spectacle

This is literally breathtaking. About a minute in I realised I wasn’t breathing 😳

Great drone filming; fabulous (I could see my house.) There's another even "littler" Calder that starts at the same point at Cliviger and runs west into Lancashire. 20 miles long. "Our" Calder is about 43 miles long - no hubris intended.

You have some remarkable timelapse clips, some remarkable drone footage and you've made an amazing video with a great soundtrack. Awesome!

Wow - love it! I've lived in Calderdale all my life and in the Calder Valley for a vast majority of my adulthood. I've always admired the area's rugged beauty but seeing it from above just magnifies its precipitous majesty. 🥰

Nice edit. There's something ever-so-slightly demoralising about the sanitising of our industrial heritage. Particularly as this landmark was a milestone on the journey North and South for millions of motorists over the years.

Well put together 👍 Think they did the last three at night so it'd mean less public viewers to deal with, the old A1 junction & surrounding area was totally clogged with cars & spectators on previous blasts. One less headache for the coppers I suppose 🤔
