    I joined his classes online and now my paintings went from being 5 star to 9 star!! After one class I understood more about color than any of 30 books or tutorials could get across. THANK YOU Michael!

    Michael, again another stunning picture. It's even better than the physical picture itself. I'm soo appreciative of you giving tips and tricks to doing this oil painting. I've never tried oil painting before and because you've inspired me so much, I tried to paint a bush. My bush look so sad, it look like a big goop in the middle of no where. But I'll try again and hopefully it will turn out a better looking goop. Thank you with all my heart. Please keep your videos going.

    I'm preparing myself to start a new painting project that has rocks underneath the water. This is very helpful in giving the appearance of gleaming, clear, water. I'll put a few rocks protruding out of the water too. Once I'm done, can I show it to you Michael? I would love a professional's critique.

    Hi Michael. Your oil paintings are amazing. I used to paint in oils with the wet on wet technique but have spent the last 27 years concentrating on airbrushing. You mentioned while doing the rocks mixing liquid with the paint. What exactly is this liquid you refer to? I know paint thinner is in the larger paint can.

I completed a painting a couple days ago with a small lake, however my reflections are lacking. Can you apply Liquin after you've done everything else? • @kathryncastanares525
      @kathryncastanares525 4 роки тому

      They're highlights. Highlighting the ripples in the water. Could be from bugs flying down into the water, or could be from the movement of the water from natural occurrences such as flow, or wind. However, that would be quite a bit of bugs making all those "white dots" and i dont think he had a swarm of nats in mind for his painting.lol :D

    Hello Michael James, I am clayton ferreira from brazil, and I am impregnated with the realism of your paintings, I am your fan. However, kindly ask me some questions, what brush do you use to make this effect in the water? Do you use any blotters? Do you paint on canvas? I have tried many times to make this effect in the water but whenever I put an ink on the other they mix and let it dry I do not get that effect. My dream and be 10% of the artist that you are! congratulations!
