You could learn from the small sections and paint a landscape urself including all in one painting. I have also seen his different tutorials and I'm planning to bring everything together in a single painting and thinking how to correctly place the rocks, trees and river
This is amazing. Can you make a tutorial on blocking? Your blocking is as masterful as a finished painting. Your values, tones, composition all come to life even at that stage.
I wonder if you ever get tired with being told how amazing you are... but to be more specific, thank you for the generosity with which you detail how you create your art. So many painting tutorials seem to promise that, but it would seem the camera gets turned off in the parts the artist actually lays down their own brand of magic. You don't. My dad was an artist on the side , also did wood burnings, stained glass, built things from wood, and just about anything you can imagine. This style of painting Michael reminds me of some of the old masters paintings done in the 1870's I just love it, this is real art.
