It takes months to get a henry rifle how could you get one last minute unless you're ok with 45 colt which no one wants but henry keeps pumping out so its the only thing on the shelves.
Sad to hear that. I have had good luck with mine. I think the warranty experience is worth mentioning. Hopefully his issues were resolved to his satisfaction.

idk my brother in law has had 3 henrys he's either sold or had to send them back to henry for repair i honestly wont buy one after his experience
He probably abused them.
I can’t blame you. I’ve never had an issue with the 2 I own. But that’s why there are more than 1 or 2 makers so you can choose!
