- The Western Carolina University Pride of the Mountains Drumline performs Part 1 from their 2022 production "Let It Burn".
Part 4 - PURPOSE
“Let your passion burn brighter than your fears.” - Mark Anthony
“Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele begins the final part of our show. It will once again feature Ms. Kennedy Cox, and will help to focus what we have learned. Living our life with Joy each day, loving ourselves and embracing our passion, and not being afraid to go through and grow from adversity in our life journey, will ultimately help us to arrive at our focused life purpose. As Mark Twain once said, “The two most important days in our life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why.”
Once you find that purpose, fan that flame, fuel that fire, and set your heart and soul ablaze with meaning and Joy. Once you find it - “LET IT BURN!”

wow...if you haven't listened to this with a nice pair of headphones yet, give it a try. they did a nice job separating the two lines into L and R and you can really hear it in the mix.
“Sir, we had twice as many people audition as we have spots. What should we do?”
“Obvious. Make another drum line!”
Western has marched 2 drum lines for a long time. Purple and Gold.
For the algorithm. ✊

Ain’t no way you said first
I mean... why do they need that many snares? I think it takes away from the quality of sound.. Do they have like an 800 member band? Other than that, it was pretty cool.
They have two drumlines, sometimes they feature the second line since they don’t get much attention anyways
They aren’t there for the entire show
Omg, this is college band, not a damn drum corps....🙄 who cares how many snares they have. Besides, it's two drumlines combined during this movement.
@@thekid675 Okay, I didn't like the two drumlines part. Might have been more interesting if they had split parts, but as it was, it was just like one giant drumline. It's just my opinion. I'm sure they're great, I'm sure the show was great.
@@chesterstevenson you sure you watched the video dawg? the parts are split pretty much the whole time
you tell him shart
