- A Georgia deputy police chief who was arrested last week for soliciting a prostitute during a sting operation in Polk County was in town for a polygraph seminar, Sheriff Grady Judd said. Prior to Jason DiPrima's arrest, he reportedly told undercover detectives that he had been conned out of $200 by a prostitute the night before.

My granddaughter gave birth inside her mother's car at about 6 am. When my daughter came out of the car to flag a police car that by the grace of God was passing by at that moment, guess who it was. Sheriff Graddy. He stopped to help right away. Guess what else, that day was his birthday too. God is great. We are forever grateful to Sheriff Grady.

I like this sheriff. He doesn’t cover up for his fellow officers. He’s very honest and transparent. Great work sheriff.
He’s w showman. He give way too much color commentary. All of his videos could be 1/3rd the length they are, but he spends extra time bloviating and castigating. I like the fact that he does good work in terms of Public Safety, but his press conferences are too much.
You have to wonder if Sheriff Grady is completely clean. People like him are often expressing *_reaction formation_* which means they're acting the opposite way that the unconscious instructs a person to behave, often exaggerated and obsessive.

@@randytheram1 I do understand your sentiment, I think he is just a good ol boy trying to talk in plain language to his community. im a big skeptic too when it comes to cops but I couldn't tell you my sheriff's name if you had a gun to my head. usually it's them reading legalese off a piece of paper and they swap out every 6 months. I think the fact that he doesn't pull punches with officers and is a singular voice is important.

This police chief is the most amazing story teller. His delivery is better then the stories he tells.
Important notation, he’s a sheriff not a policeman. Sheriffs are elected by the people, police chiefs are appointed and are unelected officials. Sheriffs generally have the people’s interest more in-mind since they want to be re-elected.

I feel sorry for all the innocent people that this department has ruined. They don't wear body cams. I have seen videos of completely innocent people being arrested and beaten. It happens every day with body cams imagine what they do without them.

Every police chief, commissioner and force in this country can learn something about earning the public's trust and respect from this man. He holds his officers to a WAY higher standard, and is completely transparent about his department. He doesn't sweep anything under the rug for cops, doesn't give any favors and absolutely holds then accountable for their actions. He's like your sweet old grandpa who wouldn't think twice about locking you up and throwing away the key. He's definitely one of a kind.

Very good point. Guilty until proven innocent is not how it's done though.. no more than Church and State are kept separate. But I guess he feels that justice is up to the courts, his job is to catch them and write the report.. And tell everyone what is public record I suppose. There's a weekly rag called Jail Report sold at the gas station that just shows mug shots and charges the week they happen. This is like that, just way more damaging.
They use that as an excuse to not have to talk about it sometimes. He’s not sharing anything that’s not public information.
