My major problem with the game was that in the 2 hours that i played, it was 2 hours of quest kiddo's shouting.
It's truly crazy how Meta don't see any issue with the complete absence of real age-gating on their games, and the negative impact it's sure to have had on overall user retention. I love screwing around in single player in VR, but screaming kids make me automatically avoid multiplayer anything, which is a MAJOR potential tool to keep people engaged with VR content, especially with the drip feed of actual good games being as slow as it is.

This is definitely from the perspective of someone who is new. The bots are pretty bad once you learn their behavior like immediately going for the emp or always guarding the objective.

I have a similar issue with Contractors. Grenades just flop out your hand. Pavlov has great ‘nade physics
I actually prefer the throwing mechanics over other games. I’ve never been able to get used to games that add velocity to your throws artificially.
It's a very hard problem to tackle as a developer. Because there's not a physical object with real weight in your hands with VR, so one size fits all doesn't really work quite as well. It's why we'll unfortunately not have a good baseball game in VR for a long time. Objects themselves interacting with one another is relatively easy to put into the game. But a weighted object like a grenade that takes each players physical movement into account to calculate it's trajectory is a very tricky problem. In 2D traditional FPS games, it's no issue at all because the grenade object will have the exact same math applied each and every single time it's thrown. VR really complicates that because not only is each individual throw a player does different, but every player in a match has a different throw. You can implement the mechanics relatively easily, but the issue is trying to make them feel good to the majority (or all) players.
I think Onward has the best solution currently but it's a long way off of perfect.

This is probably the most polished VR multiplayer game I've played.
This is a question that was brought up in alpha and the most common answer I received from the mods was, like other areas of the game, it had to be simplified to improve frame time stability.

I don't know how good throwing is in Contractors but I've become GOD with grenade in that game.

I’m yet to not burn myself with my own incendiary grenade lol
The grenades in general are fubar. Flash will completely bind people multiple rooms away. I got my own teammate with a flash i threw on point, he was down the hall and up the stairs. That paired with the terrible throwing makes it miserable to play with/against grenades.
Does this game have physical gunstock calibration? Can't find an answer anywhere.
I didn't see one. They might have a physical stock setting, but I'd have to look to be sure.

just got the game yesterday and its constantly lagging to the point where i cant even grab stuff. its the same in every server and its unplayable anyone know a fix

Yeah it got a vstock in one of the later updates, I heard a lot of people saying they didn't like it but I don't play any games with vstock so I wouldn't know

my one issue with the game is the sights with all of the guns... iron sights, red dots, and the holo's. I feel like they aren't big enough and are overall too difficult to use to their full ability

These are really nicely balanced. And I'm just happy to have something to shoot when the lobby isn't completely full
For new players, they feel very balanced. Once you’ve played for a while, they become less of a threat, but you still have to treat them with the same respect as a real player. Well done bots.
My only one issue with these bots is that very occasionally they'll do a 180 and one shot you in the head from across the map

Anyone will say this game sucks because of children flowing trough the game. While this is true, I'm 13 y/o the legal age to play oculus, many people still diss on me. I do agree, when you're playing a game when you're a terrorist and whatnot playing with 13- y/o can get super annoying due to their immaturity. Yet most of the kids do better than the 25 - 35 year old that will say any slur and or cuss word to try and get you to leave. All I'm saying is that, this game is amazing, just beware if you're 13- get ready for hate, and if you're 15+ beware for squeakers. Great video Panda, keep it up.

This game is obviously still in beta, and people are yet again paying to test another beta. Since the open alpha, all they added were a couple of maps. Still very limited in weapons, weapon imbalance, no manual reloading, no full body avatars, and no competitive game mode.
Who agrees we need reloading like Pavlov or bone lab?
